A story to ponder
Three guys decided to visit a far country for a certain matter , they played and enjoyed there , they lived in a building made of 75 floors , They couldn't find except the last floor for accommodation.
The receptionist told them: There are rules in this country, the elevators closed automatically at 10 p.m, so you should be there before that time, and if you don't, you won't be able to open it, the main computer is far away. Ok?
They replied: ok
In the first day, they had an outing. They arrived home on time. The next day, they were late for 5min. Consequently, the elevators were closed.
They agreed to go to their apartment on feet.
One of them suggested that each one tells a story for 25 floors in order to enjoy their time and not to get tired and bored. They all liked the idea!!
The first said: you'll die laughing because of my jokes. They went crazy of laughing to an extent that the building was shaking.
Then, the second said: My stories are a bit serious. They didn't mind and he continued till the reached the other 25 floors.
Finally, the third said: my stories are about despair and sadness. They didn't mind, though. They were longing for sleeping.
So he started telling them stories that even make kings hate their lives!! When they arrived, they were exhausted. And he said : the worst story in my life is that I FORGOT THE KEY at the receptionist downstairs. So they got fainted!!
Moral of the story:
The 75 floors symbolize our age.
In the first 25, we play, enjoy our time, make fools, try to impress others..., we spend the best years of our life on naive and superficial things, and we forget to please our Creator.
The hard work starts in the second 25. We get married, have kids, work to earn a living until we reach 50...In the last 25, stress starts, we get stuck in diseases, move from hospital to another, and spend our money on treatments, to mention our worry about our children's problems that need the parents to interfere for the sake of the family's happiness. REMEMBER THE KEY.. It's the key of PARADISE,you get this key by seeking the pleasure of Allah SWT ,by spending great efforts in Aibadah (worshiping), by gaining useful knowledge , by enjoining what is good and forbidding what is wrong. Unfortunately , we forgot in the first 25 years of our life..then we come to Allah SWT with nothing..."O Allah, let me return to you". We regret what we had done.. We cry "If I had another turn.." at that time, the answer is "NO".
O Allah give us life and death for the sake of Islam, O Allah we turn to you, we seek your grace, we ask for your generosity and mercy, please accept our TAWBA
