Two months went by fast. Lana has already started working for UNICEF and she adjusted pretty well on her new role in the Entity Relations Department. She is working with employees from different parts of the world and she is learning a lot from them. Lana is very glad that they are all professional and understanding of her.
A month after staying at her temporary residence, Lana moved to a nice apartment in Hannam-dong. It is where the UN Village is and most of UNICEF's big bosses live there while most of the international employees live nearby the prestigious village. It took her a whole month to find her current apartment because she was very particular when she asked her real estate agent to find her a rooftop apartment. One month in and she was very happy with her decision – Lana loves the privacy and the view of both Han River and Nam Mountain.
"Ma, I will be busy with work this month because we have an event and I am part of the organizing team. I already booked your flight to Seoul for next month. Don't forget about it okay?" Lana's mom smiled, thinking how their roles seem to have switched. Lana is now nagging her about almost everything – her health, her schedule and everything in between. Living away from home made Lana feel more responsible for her mom's well-being. But as of now, Lana is just happy that she can finally support her mom and that Lana will see her soon.
They ended their Skype call and Lana went outside her apartment to appreciate the night-lights of Seoul. She smiled and thanked the Being responsible for this universe. Thank you for conspiring on my favor.
Days went by and their big event finally arrived. It is for the UNICEF Love Yourself campaign and the media will heavily cover the event. The members of BTS are ambassadors for this UNICEF campaign and their fanbases raised a huge amount of money to donate for the cause. Lana was reminded of her encounter with them on the plane but eventually realized that that is the most that she can have with BTS.
They won't remember me. Lana was sure of that. Working for the entity relations of the United Nations gave Lana an opportunity to meet and work with big names in Asia – from politicians to celebrities, name it. But still, BTS has a special place in her heart. She is still a fan, after all.
They held the Love Yourself event in a fancy hotel in Songdo. Lana wore a white sleeveless button down top, a black tailored blazer, a pantsuit and a pair of Christian Louboutin pumps that she bought specifically for this event. She can finally afford a designer brand so she bought something that she can use a lot for official functions. Lana was in-charge of assisting the politicians who will attend the event and was disappointed to only get a glimpse of BTS because she was too busy running around.
Their organizing team wrapped up the event after three hours and Lana hurriedly escorted the VIPs down the basement parking to their respective vehicles. She was on my way back to their room when she saw a commotion with the press. BTS. Of course, idols always get the extra attention the other VIPs don't. Lana looked more, curious, and noticed that the noise was louder than the usual. The security team was eventually deployed and Lana knew immediately that something was wrong.
"Sasaengs got in," Lana heard one of the security members said while pressing the wireless radio on his hear.
Lana ran towards the crowd and saw big security members escorting BTS members out of the area. It all happened so fast as both media and fans ran after the members. Lana then saw someone in black crawling out of the mess and immediately hid under the stairs. Lana ran towards the man to check if he is a fan or a member of the media when someone suddenly shouted, pointing to Lana's direction.
"That's Jungkook! Get him!"
Lana realized what was happening and looked at Jeon Jungkook under the stairs. Her reflexes kicked in and immediately grabbed his wrist.
"RUN!!!"
He hesitated at first, looked at the media and fans, and then looked at Lana again. He made his decision eventually.
Jungkook and Lana were running as fast as they could until Lana saw one of her colleagues at the basement parking. "Yah, Daniel! Give me your car key!" Daniel was confused but still threw his key to her. Lana caught it and hurriedly pressed the button. She saw headlights flashed from a car few meters away. Still holding Jungkook's wrist, they ran together. They reached Daniel's car and Lana immediately opened the passenger's door, letting Jungkook in, while covering his head. Lana went straight to the driver's seat and opened Daniel's compartment. She found a cap and put in on Jungkook's head before turning on the engine.
BRRRRMMM.
Lana heard the engine and was lost in her thought for a while. WHAT THE FUCK JUST HAPPENED. Lana looked at Jungkook and he seemed more confused that she is. Or probably scared? Lana closed her eyes and calmed herself down.
"Handy?" She asked him. He got his phone out.
"Call RM," Lana told him. He didn't move. He still looked scared.
"Jungkook, call RM now. This is an emergency." Jungkook was still staring at Lana but he obliged and finally dialed RM's number. BigHit_Namjoon-hyung

"Which members are with you?" Bang PD-nim called the other van for a headcount.
"Taehyung, Jimin and J-Hope," the manager said.
Bang PD-nim looked inside the van where he currently is and counted. One. Two. Three. He counted again. One. Two. Three.
"Where is Jungkook? He's not with us!" He yelled.
RM, Yoongi and Jin looked around each other with their eyes wide open.
