6. Im Glad You're Safe

Chapter 6

"Jack!" You exclaimed.

"Olivia oh my god!" He ran over to you and pulled your tank top back up. As soon as you were untied you wrapped your arms around him and stood there crying. Jack was the only real friend you had at this school and it felt so good to have his arms around your body.

"Excuse me," a women's voice said. "I know you probably don't want to talk about what just happened but we need you to at least tell us to what length he abused you."

You looked to the ground and muttered something. "What was that?" She hadn't heard you. "I'm going to need you to speak up." You wiped the tears off your cheeks and stood up straight.

"You mean, was it rape or not." You spoke clearly.

"Well I- yes."

"If Jack wouldn't have come in at the moment he did, then it would have been." Jack put his arm around you and you flinch.

" So just to be clear, sexual intercourse did not take place."

"Yes."

"Okay. I am sorry this happened to you and we will do our best to make sure Derrick gets the punishment he deserves." Hearing his name makes you shiver. Jack pulls you closer to him and starts rubbing your arm. You nod and the lady tells you to go home. Now it's just you and Jack standing in the closet.

"Do you want to come over to my house?"

"She said only I could go home." You really wish you could be with him right now though.

"I'll call my dad. He'll understand."

You and Jack walk out of the closet and walk back into the hallway which now had students crowding it. Everyone was trying to get a better look as to what happened. Jack takes your hand but you feel nothing. He leads you outside and to his car. He opens the door for you and you climb into the passenger seat. Jack walks around to the other side of the car and sits down. "I'm glad he didn't-" he stopped mid sentence. You stared at your hands as you felt another tear fall down your cheek. You look up at Jack and smile weakly.

"Yeah me too."

Sorry this was kindov short but I'll try to usage twice this week! Hope you guys are enjoying it so far. I don't really have any experience with this subject so it's pretty hard to write about and if anything I say Is offensive, please tell me and I'll change it.
