Lily looked down at her one year old son and smiled. Voldemort was now gone, killed by Dumbledore. Her son was safe and so was her husband. She could soon go out and see her sister and apologize for everything. But she still had a few things to do before she saw Petunia, her husband, and nephew. Just then, James walked in, interrupting her thoughts. He kisses her forehead and whispered, "Everything is going to be okay."
Narcissa rocked quietly in a dark room with her little boy sleeping peacefully in her arms. She stroked his head and smirked at him. Her little Draco. Little did she know, her husband was leaning against the doorway watching the scene. The dark lord was now gone and all would be well for the Malfoy family. Lucius will have to lie so his wife and child were not looked at as death eaters for the rest of their lives. He would make things right for them.
Molly rolled her eyes as her youngest child began to eat his second cookie. She would never be able to get him to go to bed at this rate. She rubbed her swollen belly and sighed at the ginger haired child. Then she heard a scream from upstairs that sounded like one of the twin's. "Percy! Be careful with them, they are only two years old!" Molly yelled up the stairs. "Please let this one be a girl," she sighed as she sat down. Ron walked over to her and said, "Mama, I wuve you."
Baby Hermione slept peacefully in her crib while her parents sat in the living room, watching television. Just then a small cry came from her little body. Jean Granger walked up the stairs and into her room. "Now, now. Everything is alright, my little one," Jean cooed. She couldn't wait until her daughter was a teenager so she could take her out to go school shopping and go out on girls' weekends. Jean did not know that she would hardly ever see Hermione in her teenage years.
Alice and Frank Longbottom lay peacefully in there beds with Neville asleep in between them. They got away from Bellatrix and were safe to raise their child in peace. But all the death eaters were locked away in Azkaban, they may get out someday. But for now, Alice and Frank enjoy their peaceful lives.
Severus Snape sat in a leather chair staring longingly at the fire crackling in his living room. The Dark Lord is gone forever. He was free. Except he was not happy. He wanted one thing and one thing only. But he would never have her for himself. No matter how much he wanted her.
"Expecto Patronum."
He watched as the doe pranced around his living room in silver wisps and stared as it disappeared through his window. She was safe, but he missed her. She hasn't been seen since before the Dark Lord was killed. The only thing Severus could say was,
"Lily."
Remus and Sirius sat in the lonely Leaky Couldron. Everyone else was out celebrating Dumbledore's victory. "Now Mooney, let's find you a wife," Sirius said. Remus smiled at him and said, "Let's wait a little bit. It's only been a few hours since the defeat and I think I should get a home and job before I settle down like James."
"Right you are, Remus. Let us raise a glass to this legendary day."
