Her Point of View

I peeked out the window as the moving van pulled up. I barely heard the garage door through the music blasting through my headphones.

"Emily!" My mom yelled from down the hall.

"What?" I screamed back.

"Take those headphones off and come here and help your father," she yelled from down the hall.

"Can't you do it yourself!" I snapped back.

"NOW!" she screamed.

I walked down the hall and picked up a box. I started to carry it out and then my dad took it from me.

"Go get the rest of the things from your room," my dad said.

I went to get the rest of the things from my room. I grabbed an empty box for the hall and brought it to my room. I grabbed a sharpie and wrote "Emily's stuff" on the box. I brought it out to my dad. I went back to my room and grabbed my iPhone off of the floor. I put it in my back pocket. I took one last look at my room and closed the door. I have to admit, it was a little sad leaving the house I grew up in. Actually a lot sad.

We got in the car after we finished packing. We drove for 14 hours straight. Once we finally got there I jumped out of the passenger seat to stretch. I looked around and saw a boy about my age. He was sitting on the porch of the house across from mine. He was wearing ripped blue jeans with a baggy shirt. He had dirty blonde hair that covered his eyes and his bright blue eyes sparkled in the sunlight. I had to admit, he was kind of cute.

His Point of View

I looked up as a moving van pulled into the driveway of the house in front of me. A beautiful red-headed girl jumped out of the passenger seat. she looked about 16, my age. Her red hair flowed in the tiny breeze there was. Her green eyes were just.... Wow! her skinny jeans fit her body perfectly as well as the green tank-top she was wearing.

"Keith! Come and get the cookies to bring over to the new neighbors," my mom said from inside breaking me from the trance she put me in.

"Coming mom," I replied.

I took the cookies and then headed for the house. I walked up to the girl as she was bringing a box into her new house. Her hair was now in a poinytail. probably because it was so hot. a breeze only can once or twice in an hour.

"Umm... Hey," she said when she finally noticed me walking up.

"Oh! Uh, hey. I'm Keith. I live right across from you," I said.

"I'm Emily," she said putting me back into the trance I was in once before.
