Prologue
Ever since i was a little girl i loved the beach. The sound of waves crashing against the rocks was calming. The feel of the wet soft sand on my feet was joyful. My mother and father bought a small pearl white boat when i was about nine. It was big enough for 4 people , My parents , my older brother and I . We would have marvelous adventures every saturday. It was something that brought good memories of sea and made me fall in love with the large blue body of water. It was a joy that could never be replaced.
A year after my parents had bought the boat , my mother died while giving birth to my younger sister. My father never seemed the same after. He would blame my younger sister for her death. Sometimes he would shun her out completely ignoring her , one time he even kicked her out of the house. I would try to comfort her by taking her out on that small boat and at night we would look up at the stars , just us. My older brother left for college about five years after her death. He just packed up told us he was going to college and left. I haven't spoken to him ever since. My younger sister only had me and I promise her I would never leave her side. Little did i know.
