Ellie's P.O.V

We swam out of the pool and started drying off.
"You hungry?" Grayson asks
"Yeah I am" I say
"You want to order pizza?" He asks
"Yeah but I didn't bring any money" I shyly say
"Don't worry about it" he says with a wink. Why did he just wink? Why is he being so nice to me. This is what I don't get about Grayson. He can be so nasty one minute and so cute the next.

But that's what I like about him...

I can't I'm falling in love with him

Oh god oh god I can't be falling in love with him. I can't He is my bully!
"You want to come inside?" Grayson asks snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Yeah I just need to dry my hair a little" I say and he nods his head and walks inside.

Once I'm done drying my hair I walk inside and go to a bathroom to change back into my clothes. I walk out of the bathroom and see Grayson in his sweatpants putting a hoodie over his bare chest.
"You want to watch a movie on netflix ?" He asks
"Yeah that sounds nice" I smile and we walk downstairs.

We sit down and Grayson hands me the remote.
"Here chose something" He says and then walks off upstairs. I look through the selection and decide on a funny film. I picked grown ups because it's literally the best thing I've ever watched and I have seen it so many times. It never disappoints. Just then Grayson comes down with blankets and cushions
"What's all this for?" I ask confused.
"You can't watch a move without the blankets and cushions" he says laughing a little and I smile.
"Why are you being so nice to me?" I ask and he sighs and is about to say something when the door bell goes. It's the pizza
"I'll get it" Grayson says. He opens the door gets the pizza and then pays the man.
"I hope you like pineapple" he smiles
"Yeah I love it. Grayson stop avoiding my question why are you being so nice?" I ask
He puts the pizza down and looks at what I picked out
"Nice I love this film" he says settling down. I sigh and grab a slice of pizza and just watch the movie.

Once it's finished I notice Grayson is fast asleep with pizza on his face. How is he still cute tho? I laugh a little and get up. I grab my bag out of his room and leave him a little note on his desk

Hi Grayson I had to leave and you were asleep but thank you for tonight it was fun and you can't come for tutoring on Saturday night because I'll be out but if your going to come on Sunday just text me. Thanks again and I'll see you soon

I then look around his room once more and something caught my eye. Drawings. I think? They are poking out of his draw. I have to see them. But that's invading his privacy? Oh well he has done worse to me. I creep over to his draw and grab the art. Oh. My. God. It's so dark and morbid and depressing. I love it. Something is wrong with him. There is no way he just thinks of these things to draw. No. Something has effected him and I will find out. Even if it ruins whatever we have. Friendship? Frenemies? Whatever it is. I need to find out. I quickly put the drawings back and walk downstairs.

I take one last look at Grayson and then leave.

Once I'm home the smell of moms vanilla perfume hits me meaning only one thing. Dad is at his all time low. I know where he is. He is sat in moms room. Curled up on her bed. Soaking up every last memory.He doses this when he feels really really really sad. It's only happened a couple of times and it scares me. He will just lie there for hours crying and smelling her clothes, spraying her perfume, looking at the young pictures of them together. We didn't even change moms room when she died. Well it's not moms room it's technically moms and dads room but when she died Dad moved out I to the spare room so we could keep everything how she left it the day before she was taken into hospital where she died.

I walk up the stairs and see dad asleep on her bed with tears stained on the bed . I sigh and throw moms old blanket over him. I kiss him on the cheek and then go to bed and fall asleep
