Biography: Alice was born into a financially struggling situation because of her mother, Elizabeth, making bad decisions in her younger years. Elizabeth went through men like underwear and she ended up in an abusive relationship with one of the men she was with and he had gotten her pregnant with Alice and cheated on Elizabeth after finding out she was pregnant. Elizabeth left him after struggling for months to get away from him, and went on her own to support herself and not being able to afford to abort Alice. 9 months later Elizabeth gave birth to Alice Aurora Quinn but she never took care of Alice due to still being 23 and still in her partying phase; thus, her newborn daughter was left in the care of Elizabeth's senile parents.
Alice grew up having to learn to be independent because of her mother's absence and her grandparents becoming older and older. Alice had only been 7 and 8 when they died and it hit her hard since she had witnessed them both die although their deaths were a year apart. Alice had developed depression and anxiety from her grandparents' deaths. Elizabeth had been forced to gain custody of her daughter in which she was dating a man who lived in Derry, Maine. That man Elizabeth was dating happened to be Beverly Marsh's father and that caused Elizabeth to move to Derry and eventually the two married but Mr. Marsh had started to take his abuse out on not only Beverly but a year after Elizabeth and he got married, Mr. Marsh eventually started abusing Alice too. Elizabeth never witnessed the abuse since she was always working at a strip club. Alice tried to leave their apartment as much as she could and would usually go to Eddie Kaspbrak's or Bill Denbrough's. Bill and Eddie were Alice's best friends but she eventually became friends with Richie in middle school and highschool and developed a crush on him. Elizabeth had eventually divorced Mr. Marsh when Alice was 16. Alice put up with her mother who continued to date just about every man in Derry and once she was 18, she moved out of their small broken down apartment and moved in with a friend and saved up while she was working and going to college and eventually decided to move to Ireland and pursue a career in psychology and did modeling on the side.
