Jack's POV
I felt so depressed it has passed 2 days since, my mother died. I still can't forget her.
She was my made my world brighter.
I regret yelling at her.
She didn't deserve this.
She really didn't.
I felt like it was all my fault.
My thoughts were interrupted as Mark walked inside the living room rubbing his eyes.
He looked at me and smiled a bit.
"You look depressed.. What's wrong?"
"Mark I miss her.."
"WHO SIGNE?! WHY!?"
"No you overprotective bum. My mom."
"Oh..er...I uh..."
"Still jealous are you?"
"N-no.."
"Mark. Would my mom still be alive if I never went to your house?"
"Um. I don't know...Yes?"
"Oh. Wait...Yes?"
"I mean ugh...I don't know..."
"Mark..Are you hiding something from me again?!"
"N-NO! OF COURSE NOT!"
"I SWEAR TO GOD MARK IF YOU DID SOMETHING ABOUT MY MOTHER'S DEATH!"
"I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING JACK I SWEAR!"
"MARK TELL ME! DID YOU DO SOMETHING OR NOT?!"
"I- no! Uh.."
He ran upstairs.
I ran right after him. I chased him throughout the whole house.
He ran back upstairs and to the bedroom. I followed behind.
I closed and locked the door behind me so, he doesn't run out again.
I walked towards to him as he backed up.
"Did.You.Do.Something.With.My.Moms.Death?"
"No! I didn't I promise!"
He backed up to wall.
I walked up to him looking at him straight in the eyes.
He looked away of course.
"Tell me Mark...This is your last warning or I will find out myself.."
"No Jack!"
I slammed both of my hands on the walls as my arms were beside his head.
Lucky for me. We were about the same height.
"Look at me straight in the eyes. Did you do something with my mom's death?"
"No.."
"I'm done. If you won't tell me the truth.... I'm leaving you."
"OKAY OKAY!"
"Tell me.."
"Before I do."
He pushed me and sat on the bed. He gestured for me to sit by him. I did.
He wrapped his arms around my waist.
"Jack.."
"Yes?"
"Please don't hate me... I'm so sorry."
"...Go on.."
"I-i killed her.."
I felt my heart drop.
"WHAT?! WHAT ABOUT THE CAMERA PROOF I KNOW YOU ARE LYING!"
"No Jack. Your stepdad edited the video to make it look like he did it."
