Kaia and Katia continued on with their girls weekend at Highclere Castle. They had a few more discussion about things. Sometimes getting a little heated as the subjects ranged from their parents to Liam. But they both agreed with each other that is something they were going to have to get used to and try to live with.

Kaia wished though she could make Katia see that their parents weren't as nice as she thought they were. But she would bite her tongue when the subject came up and she would need to have a long talk with her husband about what she knew about them coming to the wedding. Maybe Zayn could talk to Liam and find out a little more.

They talked about other things to do with the wedding such as Katia's colors, venue, food. Good neutral topics. At times Kaia felt like she was playing the role of matron of honor, but she knew that wasn't her role and she tried not to let it show.

"Kaia, I've been doing some thinking," Katia said on their last day over breakfast.

Kaia set her fork down. "Oh...okay. About what?"

"I want both you and Marian to be my matrons of honor. I want you to share equally with it."

Kaia was stunned. "I...I don't know what to say."

"I mean, that is allowed isn't it?" Katia asked. "There aren't any rules against that is there?"

"Not...not that I know of....I...I guess it is," Kaia said with a small giggle. "Are you sure?"

"Yes, I'm totally sure. This weekend has proved nothing but productive in more ways than one. We've grown as sisters and I think as well as friends. And you helped to give me so much advice about the wedding and helped me to make some decisions that I guess I've been putting off," Katia said. "And that means a lot to me. Plus with Marian very pregnant, I'm sure there are days she's not going to feel like doing a lot."

Kaia lowered her head and smiled. "I...I won't let you down, Katia."

Katia smiled. "Thank you for this weekend. It truly did mean the world to me."

"And it meant the world to me as well."

They finished their breakfast and finished packing and before they left, Lady Carnarvon gave them both gift bags with books and some goodies from Highclere Castle and she invited them both back anytime they wanted to. With or without their men.

James drove them back to the train station and they boarded the train to go back home to London. Once on the train, they didn't really talk. Kaia wrote in her journal and was able to get another song written. Katia went over things on her tablet for the wedding. She texted Liam about her decision about her sister's role in the wedding. She was met with a few protested texts back, but she was determined to make things work in her favor.

Once they got back to London, they shared a cab back to their homes. They promised to keep the lines of communication open and they would see each other again at the premiere which was only a week away.

When she got home, Kaia rushed inside and found Zayn playing with the twins in the living room and Karim in his walker.

"Momma!" Destiny and Karim squealed and rushed to her and she engulfed them in her arms.

"My babies," she said hugging them tightly. "I missed you so much. Were you good for Papa?"

"Yes, momma," Ahmir said and hugged her again before running back to his toys. Destiny kissed her cheek and then went off to play with her brother again.

Kaia made her way to Zayn who pulled her into his arms and kissed her.

"Did you miss me, Bennett?" He asked nuzzling her neck.
