FLASHBACK

After everything that happened the past couple of months Alexa wanted nothing more than to have her sister back. And if sitting in the back corner of a library helped her to do that then so be it. After five minutes pass she watches as Rylan walks over to her— an eighteen boy she found who apparently can find anyone.

"You did not give me an easy job, Miss Alexa." Rylan retorts.

"What job is?" Alexa counters. "Now did you find my sister or not?"

"She's possibly in Highland Park, by the fountain and a family of humping squirrels." Rylan informs her. "Now if you want me to be sure about it then I need my incentive."

"You're pushing your luck, buddy." Alexa warns handing him two hundred dollars. "Oh, and if this information doesn't pan out I will hunt you down, rip you open like a piñata, and feed you to your mother."

"It's a good thing my mother's dead." Rylan grins stuffing the money in his pocket. "Yup. She's definitely at the park. Pleasure doing business with you, Miss Alexa."

Watching as he leaves Alexa quickly rushes out of the library and heads to Highland Park. Looking around for the fountain Alexa suddenly spies a crying blonde sitting by the edge.

"Emma!" Alexa calls before running into her arms. "I missed you so much."

"Alexa, oh my god! I thought I lost you forever." Emma cries. "How did you find me?"

"It wasn't easy. But I kept the hope that you were somewhere out there looking for me." Alexa tells her.

"You and your stupid hope." Emma shakes her head laughing. "I missed that so much. And just so you know — you are never leaving my side again."

"Kid, I have go to check on a lead. I'll be back soon." Alexa tells him kissing the top of his head and begins walking out Granny's front door.

"Where are you really going?" Henry questions.

"I just told you, I'm following a lead." Alexa reminds him. "One that might help fix everything."

"Is this about the person who killed my dad?" Henry inquires.

"Yes." Alexa admits.

"Then tell me." Henry presses.

"Henry, I know this hard but you have to let me do my job. You just have to trust that I'm doing what's right." Alexa informs him.
