~\ Donghyun's POV \~

I was awakened by the blinding light of the sun shining into my bedroom. Today's the day. The day I start my first day of high school, and in a new town as well.

The University of Busan.

You may be curious as to why I said 'my first day of high school', aren't you? Well, that answer is pretty simple actually.

I have always admired singing, well, just music in general, for as long as I can remember. For that reason, my mother decided to keep me homeschooled so I can work on following my music career. I have never been to a real school before; this is the first.

Exhausted, I slowly sat up from my cozy and familiar bed. I glanced over at the clock. 5:45 am. My alarm went off so damn early! Why in the hell?! I'm still tired! Fuck you, you stupid ass alarm clock!

"Honey, are you up yet?" my mother questions me as she enters my room. "Yes, I am. I'm very much awake now. Do you know why my alarm went off so early? I swear I set it for 6:25."

"I set it. I'm just making sure that you are not late on your first day to an actual school, Hun. Since you have to walk and all," she smiles. "I have some breakfast bars sitting out for you on the table if you want to grab a bite before you go. Then, I'll be off! Love you, Dongs~ do well today!"

"Love you more!" I waved goodbye to her as she stepped out the front door.

It was already 6:15. Holy shit! If I don't hurry I'm going to be late! That can't happen, especially not on my first day! I need to find something to wear.

What to wear, oh what to wear? I rummage through my closet for awhile, then an idea pops into my head. Oh, I know! I'll wear my favorite black ripped jeans and a cute, oversized pink sweater. Is my outfit too feminine? I feel really cute and adorable when I'm wearing oversized things, so I am not complaining.

It was now 6:27. I need to hurry my ass up so I can make it there in time to get my schedule from the principle and still be able to make it to my 1st-hour class on time.

I dashed downstairs and barely managed to shove a breakfast bar into my mouth before I raced out the door.

Since my mom was gone and off to work, I have been left with no choice but to walk my lazy ass all the way to the school. And, guess what? I have to do that every day! To and from school. Ugh, it's such a pain!

I am scared of getting lost, so I'm using a navigation app to help me find my way around this big city and lead me right to the school. I passed a coffee shop, a city park, a shopping mall, and lots more. Great! I can use what I saw back there to help me find my way back home after school and maybe without that damn app too!

I was too occupied with my phone that I didn't even realize that I had already reached the school. I was left face to face with two gates that had the words 'University of Busan' engraved on each side of them. Well, this looks like the place~ I said with a grin. I have finally reached my destination. Haha, thanks, navigation app.

I gently opened the gate, and while looking around to make sure no one was staring at me, I caught a glimpse of someone. He was a tall red-haired guy, who seemed around the age of eighteen. He was hustling towards the school's main entrance. The boy then disappeared behind the door.

I quickly walked through the pathway up to the front steps of the school and then I stopped myself before I could reach for the door handle.

Take a deep breath, Donghyun. You'll be alright, okay? Make the best out of today!

Woah, this place is enormous! I gasp as I enter the fairly large building in front of me. I glanced around. There are so many students that go here. Will I ever fit in with anyone here? I stick out like a sore thumb in this place. You, me, and everyone else can clearly see that.

After lots of wandering the halls, and having none of the surrounding students help me find where it was that I wanted to go, I finally found the Principal's Office.

I opened the door awkwardly, scared of what, or more like who lies behind that door.

Oh, he looks rather kind, for a principal, that is. "Hello, Principal Lee, I'm Kim Donghyun, I will be starting my classes here as of now," I said with a nervous tone. "Oh, what's this? a new student! Follow me then, Mr. Kim."

I was lead to what looked like a teacher's lounge. Is he giving me my schedule? I hope the students in my classes go easy on me. I'm very fragile... just don't ask questions.

He then gave me my schedule. I looked at it in a hurry, because there were only about five minutes left till 1st-hour begins, and to top this all off, I have no idea how to even get to this classroom.

Great. Just great. I'm going to make a bad first impression with Mr. Jung. What if he is really strict and scary? Oh, I sure hope he's not!

With just roughly 3 minutes left till the bell rings, I found my own way to Mr. Jung's math class. I looked through the tiny window hole on his classroom door, and I saw the redhead from earlier this morning.

Can he be my mate? He looks very friendly; at least to me. What does everyone else think about him? Is he nice or is he a total dick? Hmm, I wonder...

I tried my hardest to crack open the door to the classroom as silently as possible, but I failed in doing so. The door made a loud screeching sound, which caused all the students inside the class to look up at me.

Good job, Donghyun, way to draw even more attention to yourself.

Being the shy person I am, I stepped into the classroom with my hands overlapped in front of me and my head hanging down low. Today is just not my day, is it?

Everyone was staring at him

Does he look that out of place here?
