Chapter 1
Valora's POV
I slowly opened my eyes and took in my surroundings. White. Only white walls surrounded me. Then I heard a BEEP sound beside me. The cardiac monitor. I carefully got off the bed...wait..what?! A bed? I quickly spun around to see if it was really a bed. I swear I made the loudest gasp in my life. There was a person on the bed and the person was...me?
My body lay on the bed with a breathing mask on and in a hospital gown. I looked down at myself and saw that I had my casual clothes on.
Hospital ?
Gown ?
Cardiac monitor ?
Breathing mask ?
Suddenly the door of the room opened and in came a nurse. I thought she would see me but she went right through me!
What the hell was happening ?
I need air!
I rushed to the door and tried to open it. As I grabbed the door handle, my fingers went through the handle instead of grabbing it. I tried again and again but my hand refused to grab the handle. It went straight through the door handle.
As I tried to bang on the door, the force threw me right across the door! Through it ! Damn it! Was I intangible ? Finally I was in the hall. I got another shock as I saw my mom was crying and my dad tried to console her.
A man dressed with a long white coat approached my parents. Oh ! A doctor ! "I'm sorry to say that your daughter is in coma."
Woah! Reality hit me like a ton of bricks. I was in coma and intangible. I was a wandering soul.
I needed to get out of here but where should I go then ?
