"Hey Lexi, can I ask you something?" I said as we were on catering on an NXT live show in my hometown of Lancaster, Pennsylvania
She giggled "I have a feeling you would ask a question" she winked "It's about Leighla, isn't it?" She smirked, I cleared my throat, and tried to hide the light red tint on my cheeks but failed
"Look who's blushing..." Kyle teased in a sing-song voice as he sat next to me and Bobby sat next to Alexa
I glared at Kyle "Shut up Kyle!" I crossed my arms, glaring intensely on him, trying to scare him so he can't tell my (former) crush on Alexa
"Is it because of Alexa?" Bobby asks
"What about me?" Alexa frowned
"N-Nothing!" I stammered nervously
"He has a BIG crush on you- ow!" Kyle exclaimed as I hit him in the back of the head
Alexa looked at me, with an amused look on her face "Really?" She asked with a small smile
"Well..." I sighed "I used to have a crush on you for years, but as I was becoming friends with you... Those feelings went away and I started to see you more as a friend and as a sister" I smiled sincerely
"That's nice to hear then, one less admirer and gained a friend and brother in one day!" She joked, we all chuckled at her joke
"So, care to tell us why are you blushing earlier?" Bobby raised an eyebrow as he and Kyle stare at me like I was a puzzle that they were trying to figure me out
"No-" I was about to deny it when Alexa gave her phone to Bobby, which was probably has her Instagram opened and on Sofia's profile
"He's asking about Leighla, my stylist and best friend" Alexa smirks as Kyle went ahead and stood next to Bobby to look at the phone
"Damn, you have good taste in girls" Bobby gave me a thumb up
I ignored him "How did you know her?" I asked Lexi
"I met her in 2005, she was a make up arist intern, The brand I was doing a photoshoot for hired her makeup company in Manheim, Pennsylvania and we got insanely close the moment we met" she giggled "She ranted about people in her school, her dad and the guy she's dating at the time was so popular with the ladies and girls were bullying her" she stated
"Did she say anything about the guy?" I asked, smiling a bit
"Yes, she did. She was gushing and fangirling about him-" she stopped as if she realized something "That guy was you?!" She exclaimed
"I was, but long story short I fucked up because I was a huge douchebag back in high school. I chose my reputation as a ladies man than date a nerd like her." I shook my head "But to be honest? She was my first ever serious girlfriend and still is, she was the one who told me to follow my dreams and be the man who I am now" I sighed
"Do you still have feelings for her?" Lexi asked "And be honest" she added
"Yeah, its been 10 years and I will always love her, she was my first love. But I don't think she'll take me back though" I said
"Then prove to her you're a changed man, and start over" she said as Kyle gave her phone back before standing up "I'll just dash to the restroom guys" she said as she walked away from us
"She was your ex huh?" Kyle smirked "She's kinda hot though, she looks more of a beauty queen than a nerd" he chuckled
I glared intensely at him again, making him raise his hand in surrender
But before I could say something, I felt my phone vibrate in my jeans, I took my phone out and looked at my notifications
