Suicide

There once was a very sad man who had no friends and family. He wanted to commit suicide but he knew he couldn't do in his own hometown, where he grew up, where he got his first Christmas present and where he broke his first leg. The sad man which name was Jacob had a lot of both good and bad memories from his hometown Cooke City. Jacob left his house, went on the old porch which had a lack of colour and at some places the boards were missing. He took a last look at the expired house and then got in his car and drew to the airport, to catch a flight to Japan.

But first, we need to go back a decade to see what went wrong.

The sun was shining outside, the birds were singing in the spring breeze. Inside the most beautiful house in Cooke City, Jacob had just woke up, he was getting ready to graduate University. Jacob went downstairs and as always his mom was making breakfast for him but this time it wasn't just a sandwich with turkey and salad on it, this time it was bacon and scrambled eggs. He was hungry and ate kinda fast but he didn't want to ruin his suit, that his father had got for him before he passed away in cancer. Jacob left the house and got out in the spring heat, but this time around it's was almost summer just one more day of spring. He heard the birds sing in the big old oak tree and could feel that this was going to be a great day. Jacob took his bicycle out of the Shed and whisked off the dirt from the saddle. Then he cycled away and behind the bicycle was a big dust cloud.

Jacob only really had one friend, his name was Olle. But Jacob kept a secret from Olle and if he were to find out what that was, their friendship would be ruined. By the side of the road, Olle stood ready and waiting for Jacob. Olle's suit was beautiful, the two friends said hi to each other and then started to bicycle towards school.

They were super happy to graduate University and when they arrived at the campus area, they saw a crowd full of people both parents and students. They then walked over to their senior class to say goodbye and hold a speech and of course to get their exam.

Jacob's secret was just about to get revealed by accident but he didn't know it. Ashley, Olle's girlfriend came up behind Jacob and Olle. She wanted to read her speech for them so she could get feedback. The two boys were thrilled to hear the speech and the speech was exceptionally well written until Ashley mentioned last summer and what she and Jacob did. Olle was astonished of what he just heard, he slowly turned to Jacob with tears gathering in his eyes, Olle only asked one question, why? Jacob tried to tell Olle that it wasn't true, but it was and he knew that. But Olle didn't listen, he just ran away with tears running down his cheek. Jacob felt so bad, he had just lost his only friend and he felt so bad that he almost wanted to commit suicide. Jacob ran away from his senior class to his bike. He sat down on the bicycle saddle with tears in his eyes and slowly started to pedal home.

It's now been ten years since Jacob lost Olle as a friend and he had tried many times to say that he is sorry but Olle isn't listening. Jacob hasn't had much success in his life, no girlfriend, no friends and no family because last year Jacob's mother died. When Jacob lost his mother he became depressed and yet again wanted to commit suicide.

Jacob is still living in the same exact house since he was a little kid. But now it was decayed and a normal person could barely live in it. Jacob sat on his chair staring lifelessly into the wall, with absolutely no reaction at all. He slowly moved his hand towards the pencil and then started to write a letter, a suicide letter.

Jacob walked through the house with the letter in his hand, with no facial expression, just a lifeless soul that wanted to be in a happier place. Jacob left his house, went on the old porch which had a lack of colour and at some places the boards were missing. He placed the letter on the old porch. He took a last look at the expired house and then got in his old car and drew to the airport, to catch a flight to Japan.

But just as Jacob left the house his old friend Olle stopped by, to say that he is sorry. But he was greeted by a horrified look. The old house had almost expired, so Olle walked over to the porch and saw the letter. He slowly opened the letter and read it. He read that Jacob was sad and wanted to commit suicide and his plan was to fly to Japan and commit suicide in the Aokigahara forest.

Jacob sat in the gate waiting to board the flight when he saw Olle came running through the airport. Jacob suddenly felt happiness and tears gathered in his eyes. The two friends hugged each other and then sat down to talk about what happened. It ended with the two becoming friends again and they would never lie to each other again.
