The loud sounds of the people cheering echoed in my ears. It didn’t bother my anymore. I was starting to like being surrounded by crazy basketball fans. I might have even considered myself to be one. I’d been to every UCLA basketball game since the start of the season. Two years ago I would have never step foot in a basketball arena, but as they say having a boyfriend really does change you. My boyfriend Tyler of two years now played center on the UCLA basketball team. I met him when I was a senior in high school and he was a freshman at UCLA. Since then we have been inseparable.
I pushed my way through the crowd and walked to my normal seat where I sat at every game. The game hadn’t started yet but the arena was packed with people. I was so focused on how many seats were full with people that I tripped over someone's feet. I pushed my arms out to catch myself but I didn’t fall. I turned my head to the right to see a beautiful looking boy holding my waist so that I didn’t fall. His piercing green eyes looked deep into me as I slowly slid into the seat next to him.
"Thanks," I said softly still trying to catch my breath.
He smiled with his very white teeth that looked he brushed his teeth four times a day.
He didn't say anything he just stared at me and smiled.
"I'm Marissa," I said.
"Cool, so is this your first college basketball game," he said not looking at me anymore but at the court where the boys started practicing.
"Ah, no, I've been to almost every single game for the last two years now," I said.
"Wow, that's commitment! You must have a boyfriend on the team then," he said as his soft pink lips slightly turned into a frown.
"Yes I do, Tyler Williams, he's number 27," I said and stared at the side of the boy's face.
He looked back at me and smiled agin.
"Aye K!" A guy yelled at the end of the row. The boy look at him and nodded his head.
He looked back at me, "enjoy your game, maybe I'll see you around campus sometime," he said and got up.
"Hey, I didn't get your name," I said but he was already at the end of the row and couldn't hear me.
