All I did was touch her. Now, she laid in the corner of the room. Her eyes wide open and in shock. Electric shocks puksed through her like an energy socket. I went over to her and took her pulse. My fingers detected nothing. A dead corpse. A feeling arose in the back of my throat and I turned and retched. I wiped away the warm liquid from my mouth. The taste clung to my mouth. The light flickered out leaving me in a unbearable darkness. I wondered to myself if I could possibly be some kind of alien. Then I dissmissed the thought away. I felt my way along the wall, looking for the door. My fingers rubbed across an opening and I stepped forward. My foot banged against a step. Pain flared up my leg and eventually faded. I continued on as if nothing had happened. When I reached the top of the stairs, a light turned on to alluminate a table in the middle of a white room. I turned, to see another wall. I reached my hand toward the place where I had entered to feel another wall. I turned toward the table. Slowly, I put one foot in front of the other until the table was in front of me. Screams echoed throughout the room. I tried to cover my ears, but that lead to more noise. Then, something big fell from the ceiling. When it hit the ground, it unfurled into a creature from hell. Its legs were hairy and thin like a spider. It had a body of molten metal and the eyes were like balls of lava. It skreiked again echoing thought out the room. It jumped upward just to land on me. Its mouth opened up to reveal a mouth full of slimy inscisors. The grime dripped down onto my face. It was warm, very warm. it's teeth unfolded and tried to strike at my face. I moved my hands to stop the inscisors from hitting me. I strained as the thing pressed harder and harder. I screamed and a blast of blue lit the top of my hands and into the monster. It was like a laser beam. The spider hit the other side of the room and disintegrated into a blue haze. The light faded from my hands

and I knew I had a power that no one else had.
