Chapter 20: Nightmares

I woke up with a sudden jolt and started panicking. I look around me and see Zach snuggled up to my chest. I sigh in relief and put my head back down. It was 2:00 in the morning and I woke up from a nightmare I had about Zach. Maybe it's because he told me he did it and told Daniel before me. I don't know what has come over me. I let the thought drift away and fall asleep again, Zach inching closer to my chest. A smile appeared on my face once he was as close as he could be. You like him, just admit it. Brotherly love. Mmhm, sure Jack. Good night. I finally fell asleep.

MORNINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!
I had woken up with coldness everywhere. Zach was gone. I got up in and instant panic only to hear that the shower was on and Zach was singing. I laugh at his horrible singing. He probably wasn't trying. Corbyn was rushing to get ready and so were Jonah and Daniel. I laughed at the sight of the boys, rushing around, packing up any of their clothes they had washed the night before. Zach had gotten out of the shower and was already ready surprisingly. He was also already packed, I mean, it was surprising. They had finally got ready and the Uber came the exact moment they finished. We all climbed into our usual spots and we were off to the airport. It wasn't a long drive considering we were super close to the airport and the flight wasn't long either. We got to the airport in a matter of minutes and climbed out of the car one by one, walking towards the airport doorways. Daniel and Jonah went to go use the bathroom and Corbyn, Zach and I went looking for our gate. We were pretty early for once and had to wait and an hour before we could start boarding. To pass the time, Corbyn took out his his switch and played some kind of Zelda game. Zach was scrolling through his Instagram, and I was sitting there, thinking. Jonah and Daniel came back from the bathroom with their hair messed up slightly and I just laughed. "Had fun in the bathroom?" I smirk. They both glare at me and go sit next to Corbyn. Zach chuckled at the two boys and his eyes went back down to his phone. "Zach, get off your phone and come get food with me. I'm hungry and we skipped breakfast." I whine. He groans. "Fine."  He forcefully gets up out of his seat and I hop out, taking his wrist and leading him to the nearest chipotle. (Like the ones in the airport.) He was smiling a little as I dragged him through the airport. I had finally found one and we stepped into the line. I was smiling so wide and he just rolled his eyes. "I got up, from my warm chair, to get chipotle?" He groans. "Yes." I respond, still smiling. He rolls his eyes again but with a small laugh. We finally got to the front of the line and I ordered a salad for both of us. The person nodded and I paid him. "I should've paid, you didn't have to." He sighed. "Its fine, really. I wanted to pay" I respond. He shakes his head and goes to find a table, sitting down and instantly going back on his phone. I roll my eyes and sit in front of him, snatching his phone from his hands. "Hey!" He shouts. "You are not getting this phone back until we are done eating and are on the plane. He huffs and crosses his arms. They call our order and he gets up to get it, handing me my bowl when he walks back. He plops back down in his seat and starts instantly eating. "Can I have my phone back?" He whines. "No. You've been on your phone the entire time in the car and when we got to our gate, so no." I respond with a small smirk. He huffs again and continues to eat. We finished when they said our gate could start boarding. We threw away our trash and headed back to our gate. Jonah, Daniel, and Corbyn had already boarded when we got there so we had to hurry and board. We sat down in our seats and I handed Zach his phone back. He says thank you and puts it in his pocket. I raise an eyebrow as he leans his head on my shoulder and falls asleep. I play with his hair and slowly drift to sleep.
