Chat Noir's POV

I turned in the direction of the explosion to see that it had been caused by a man in a dark purple suit with a skeleton mask.

"No one cared when I had the worst nightmares of my life, now everyone had nightmares! Ladybug and Chat Noir can't stop me! They'll be too tired to! Muahahahaha!"

Classic akuma behavior, just as I thought. Although, he did make my shoulder bleed this morning. I hope he didn't cause more damage than that.

"Stay here! I got this cat in the bag!"

Marinette's POV

There he goes with his cat puns again. I think I'm actually starting to like them...

Ooooorrrr I'm just going crazy. Either way, I chuckled at it.

I still need to apologize, even though I couldn't be there for myself, I can't tell him that.

"I-I need to get upstairs from something! U-Uh I mean, I need to get something from upstairs!"

"What is it girl? What is this important right now in this moment? You heard what Chat said, we need to get somewhere safe!"

Dang it Alya, I hate it and love it that you're so caring.

"I-It's really important!"

"Okay, go ahead, but if anything happens to you, I'm blaming myself!"

I ran upstairs as fast as I could, opened the hatch, and closed it.

"Looks like Chat needs our help, you know the drill, Spots On!"

—-Timeskip—-

"Ladybug! You picked a hell of a time to show up! Half of the citizens are dreaming, while they're awake!"

"Chat, I'm sorry about not showing up when I-  Marinette got akumatized, I couldn't find a place to transform-"

"Now's not really the best time to apologize, Ladybug!"
Chat said while dodging someone who was running from something in their dream, so they were running in real life.

Third person POV

Ladybug and Chat Noir dodged blast after blast from Nightmare's cane, until...

"Nino!"

Nino got hit.

All of the sudden shadowing figures faded into existence around Nino.

The figures were laughing at him and said they hated his music. One even took his headphones and smashed them on the ground. He knelt down and picked up the shattered pieces. Once he had them in his hands another figure was about to knock them down again until Ladybug used her yo-yo and sliced through the figures making them disappear. Nino's eyes opened and he was very confused.

"W-Where am I? Why are my headphones smashed?"

"You are near the Dupain-Cheng bakery, you can take shelter there!"

"But I was following Alya when I got hit! Where is she? I need to find her!"

"Don't worry, we'll find her! She's a strong girl, she'll live. Now hide!"

This akuma is a strong one, we can't even get close to him! Ladybug thought. We need some backup.

Marinette's POV

"Hey Chat, do you think you can cover me for a few minutes? I'm gonna get us some help!"

"I'm not sure, but I'll try! Unlike you."
He murmured the last part, but I still heard it, and I felt hurt, but we still need to defeat the akuma, so I went to see a good friend of mine.

Third person POV

"Come in Ladybug"

Master Fu hasn't let her down yet, so Marinette needed to... give someone something.

"I'm so sorry to bother you but we need some help, and I was thinking that we could receive the help of another miraculous holder."

"Wise decision, I know exactly which one."

Master Fu looked down at his wrist and sighed,

"I'm getting too old for this, I think it is time to crown a new..."

He paused for effect...

"Jade Turtle."
Master Fu said as he made a dramatic movement with his hand.

"A-Are you sure?"

He took off the bracelet and stored it in a miraculous box...

"And I know exactly who to give it to. Deliver this..."

He paused for effect again 'cause he's Master Fu...

"To Nino Lahiffe."

Sorry for such a short chapter, and the long wait, and the cliffhanger, and the fact that chat hates Ladybug.
