As Jess looked through her computer she had found nothing about a corpse. Jess tried to recall the place she was at in her dream. After a few minutes she had deciphered the location, so she put the computer away and chose to go on an adventure tonight, she'd be back before her mom woke up, after all, she'd normally wake up in the afternoon, so she had time. She got up and wrote on a note that she was going out.
Jess grabbed a backpack and put a flashlight in there along with some fruit roll-ups and small hot Cheetos bags. Before zipping up her backpack she grabbed a childhood toy from a coat she had on earlier and looked at the light brown bear with a light blue blanket attached to the bottom of it. Jess embarrassed she still carried a child toy for comfort gently put it down in the bag then calmly zipped up her backpack and put it on the ground. She picked out an outfit and quickly got changed out of her pajamas.
Jess grabbed a sweater with black and white stripes, with a black t-shirt under the sweater. She wore dark blue jeans with doc martens flats. Before leaving, however, She wrote on a paper what she recalled the girl had looked like and the name on the paper before leaving and kept the note in her jeans pocket. Jess walked out of the house keeping the backpack on her shoulder. The wind once more had her hair going all over the place and she eventually pulled her hair back.
The crickets chirped and the sound of passing cars was enough to make Jess a bit on edge as she gripped her backpack tightly as she continued to walk. She hummed 'Truly, Madly, Deeply' by Savage Garden to herself to try to fill up the silence and grabbed her flashlight to help her see as it grew darker to her eyes.
Entering the woods dead leaves crunch under her feet when she continued to walk continuing to grip her backpack tighter with each step further into the woods expecting to see a corpse. Continuing on her search she heard a lullaby-like tune. Glancing back and forth she became distracted and tried to identify on where the sound was coming from. She recalled the tune and hummed along to it. The teen continued before she was face to face with a music box. It appeared beaten up as there was a ballerina spinning in the center. The young woman picked it up and studied it, and on the bottom written in green marker was, "Property of Lola Breen".
