Chapter 11

I woke up and searched around frantically for my phone, Ben woke up and asked what was wrong

"i dont know i have to find my phone!!" i yelled

he got out of bed and looked around. i looked in my bag and found it. i had a few missed calls and messages from my dad, and one message from Matt.

Kayleigh, my little sister, every since you left everythig has turned to shit. Dad kicked me out and disappeared for a few days but he is back now. i cant carry on anymore Kayls, i tried to stay strong but i couldnt, im sorry and i tried my hardest to stay strong but i just cant do this anymore. This is the end for me, remember i love you and i couldnt have asked for a better sister. Dont come back. Dad will never let you leave. stay where you are okay. i love you and always will, no matter what. stay strong and happy -Matt <3 xx

i burst into tears and Ben held me, he had read it over my shoulder. I cried into his chest, the others had woken up and were looking at us with concern. Ben passed them my phone and they all sowre and hugged me. i have never felt safer or more cared about than that moment, I looked up and smiled at them and thanked them. they all told me they were here for me no matter what.

she has been through way too much...she shouldnt have to deal with these things at her age...she serously shouldnt. She and Ben were good for each other. he was a different person when she was with him. She is much better than the other girls he has brought onto the bus. I liked her. She was adorable. like my little sister, i guess i could call her that...

We didnt go back to sleep, it was already 6 so there was no point in going back to bed. We got changed and decided to get some breakfast from somewhere. I held Bens hand and as we walked off the bus, we saw the ATL boys getting off their bus too, a woman was with them. We went over to them

"oi you little fuck! coming in at all hours of the morning causing shit!" Alex said punching ben on the shoulder laughing.

"hey, we were bored and you guys are so funny to prank okay?"

Jack introduced us to his girlfriend, Abby. She was nice, i could tell she had a story of her own. like i had a story. she was wearing shorts and a BMTH top. she dressed like me in a way. band tees, loads of bracelets and her hair was styled in a simliar way to mine but hers was a dark red in colour. Whereas mine was blue....She had a sweet smile and she gave me a hug. I noticed the scarring around her neck, almost as if she had been strangled. I didnt ask her though. I smiled at her and Ben asked if they wanted to grab some breakfast with us. Abby and I walked together and talked. A little bit behind the boys..

"i saw you looking at my neck..." she said

"oh, um...yeah...um"

"its fine, its no big deal really." she said quietly

"What happened, if you dont mind me asking?" i asked

"its fine, well...i had an ex who was a complete maniac who couldnt accept the fact that i didnt want to be with him, so he came to my house one day and strangled me with his belt...i almost died. I met Jack shortly after i got out of the hospital. and he has been amazing. What about you."

i told her about what happened with my Dad and how Ben had took me in. She hugged me and told me, she was there for me. I think she meant it...she had a kind look in her eyes. She was really pretty. I need a good friend who isnt a guy to talk to. i have never had any friends, let alone a girl friend to talk to, so i told her the same. She hugged me and we ran to catch up with the boys. Jack put his arm around her waist and Ben did the same to me. We got to a cafe to have food and we all sat down, we put a bunch of tables together and ordered. I got pancakes to share with Ben because i wasnt that hungry. I ordered a coffee and drunk it really quickly. Halfway through breakfast a food fight broke out, because Rian flicked cereal at Alex' head and it just grew from there. The waitress come over and asked us to stop or we could leave. buuut, as you can guess they didnt stop. We were asked to leave and we left with huge smiles on our faces. Ben and Jack were whispering to each other, Abby and I looked at them cautiously, then they charged at us and picked us up and ran back to the grounds with us in their arms. Ben flogged Jack and he put me down and kissed me. I smiled up at him, Jack and Abby come up behind us and Jack fell on the ground. We all laughed at him, the others caught up to us and we headed to the stage, the ATL boys had an interview to do so Abby come with me to wait in the wing for Ben. We got to the stage and they were handed their guitars and pushed out onto the stage. Abby and I sat down and watched from the side. Best view if you ask me. Abby asked what i was doing later this afternoon and asked if she wanted to do an interview with her. An interview for girlfriends on tour. i agreed and we talked about our favorite bands and what tour life was like for her.

"It's hard, all the girls that try to get with Jack, its ridiculous actually." she said, "how is it for you so far?"

"its good, i like it, i have seen so many of my favorite bands. And Ben is amazing"

"the sex on tour is great too!!" she exclaimed with a laugh.

"yes, it sure is." i winked at her.

We stood up and had our own little mosh pit in the wing, and danced to the Not The American Average. Abby was super cool and really pretty. We got drinks from the fridge. We danced and drank to the music. The boys come off. all sweaty and yuck. Ben kissed me and handed his guitar to a man who took it away. We went and watched the end of BVB show, they were so good live...

We had to pack up soon and get ready to leave for the next venue, so we said good bye to Abby and she left to go tidy the bus a bit and we went back to our bus, we talked to one of the people walking around and let him know we were going to head off, he checked our name of the list and bid us farewell. We got on the bus and prepared ourselves for the few hour drive. All six of us settled down on the lounge and watched a movie and ate popcorn. I was happy and left all that had happened behind and got ready to start fresh, without any worries and carefree. I kissed Ben and focused on the movie
