Rin shouted out the schedule and stroke times to the rest of his team, a few other teams standing across the pool.
He finished right as the Iwatobi team arrived.
"Hey guys!" He waved them over. "Nice to see you all," Rin greeted with a grin, showing his shark like teeth.
"You too, Rin," Makoto smiled back.
"You ready for today?" Nagisa asked rather loudly.
"It's just a practice," Rin sighed awkwardly at the blonde's excitement. "But yeah, we're ready, and we've trained extra hard."
"So have we," Rei countered proudly. "So don't expect any of us to hold back. We're gonna give it our all."
"I'm looking forward to it," Rin nodded. "How about you, Haru?"
He averted his gaze. "You know I don't care about times," he muttered. "Only the water."
"Should've expected that," Rin sighed. "Well, you're gonna have to wait for the water. Our freestyle race-off for us two is the last match of the day."
Haru heaved a sigh.
"That's okay," Makoto added. "They're saving the best for last."
With that, Samezuka and Iwatobi went to fin their seating areas which were beside one another, and waited for the matches to begin.

There were quite a few fast swimmers from the other teams, but they were no concern for Samezuka or Iwatobi. Everyone could sense it, the rivalry was all that mattered to them.
Especially to the redhead, who hardly tore his red eyes from the ravenette. Haru however, was the opposite, and hardly took his blue eyes from the swimmers.
It was then that he noticed the brunette who watched the water from behind a column.
Haru nudged Rin. "Oi," he muttered. "Who's he?"
"Probably a passerby that heard the splashes and came to watch."
Haru let it go and the two sat together for the remainder of the morning.
Makoto won against Momotarou.
Nagisa pulled a close win against Aii, who was noticeably better than their last meet.
Rei went against Sousuke, yet was a close second.
After a few more matches, the Dolphin of Iwatobi and the Shark Of Samezuka headed to the locker room to change.
