After that big fiasco, I made it my priority to get up early and see Jughead after the fact.

Luckily, my dad was supposed to be interviewing people that applied for jobs today. Otherwise, the café was closed, so I was given the day off until further notice.

I got prepared — my normal morning routine — and started my journey out of the house. WHen I left the house, the sun was barely even up yet. Despite this, here I was, trying to gather my thoughts to ask him about the unspoken issue. I can't need to stutter, I need to be blunt.

Due to the startling amount of anxiety running through me, I urged myself to check my watch. The time barely brushed 10 AM, and while I failed to comprehend the fact that I had just walked for nearly four hours, I was able to comprehend the hunger pains that were starting to strike.
