Chapter 3: No Escape

This is three months later, she's finished school now.

I had just come home from the graduation party with my soon forgotten friends. I looked around and no one was home. I took it as my chance to leave the house and try to find an escape route. I left out the back door, taking my time, I walked slowly. These woods were very deep, and I knew that I could get lost... I started to remember the last time I tried to run...

Flashback

I was running as fast as I could but it seemed that the deeper I was in the forest the more trapped I was then free and I knew that I couldn't turn back. I fell to the ground getting filthy and cutting my hand again. I was caught and Nate was furious. I wasn't aloud anywhere for a week without supervision.

End

I knew better than to run because I'd get in trouble, so I went back inside and wrote a note. It said I went for a walk and didn't know when I'd be back. I hoped that they knew it was true because Nate told me that if I tried to run again, he'd bite me.

I walked for what felt like hours but I knew it hadn't been that long a single hour at the most. I decided it was time to go back when I realized... I was lost.

"Fuck..." I tried following my footsteps back but to no avail. "How did I get so lost in here!?"

I finally found the house and peeked at the clock... 11:45 PM. Oh man, Nate's gonna be so upset with me. I didn't know what to do, so I took a deep breath and went inside. As soon as I was through the door, I was pulled into someone's grip.

"What the hell were you thinking!!!" Nate yelled.

I pulled away from Amy in fear. "Nate don't get upset, she left a note."

"How am I supposed to know she wasn't lying?!"

"Because she wouldn't have come back." Anti Defended.

Nate stayed quiet and looked at me. I was to scared to look at him as he walked over and pulled me into his arms. "Don't scare me like that ever again ok?"

"Ok..." I mumbled into his shirt.

After a little while of us in his room with me calming him down, I said, "Nate... will you... will you mark me?"

"What?"

"Would you ever mark me?"

"Yes, I would if you wanted me to."

"I do... I want you to mark me."

He leaned in and mumbled, "This will hurt." I only nodded and he bared his fangs and drove them deep into my neck. I held back screams of agony as I felt my life essence drain from my body.

It was then I knew, I belonged to him in every way... there was no escape.
