Chapter 6

Jacks POV

That night, I thought all about what happened when Kayla came over...

Not much actually, but...

I really want to ask her out, like really badly.

I know she likes Taylor a lot but after tonight, maybe she changed a little.

Sooner or later she will ask out Taylor because Kayla is brave like that.

But I can't have that happen.

The next day, I woke up super early,

Got a shower

Put on a nice shirt

Styled my hair so I don't look like a hobo

And put on this cologne I got for Christmas.

I guess I looked pretty good.

After all, appearance is almost everything.

As I got on the bus I thought about what I was gonna say to her...

'Kayla hey! Did you do something different with your hair?' I thought I could say

'You look gorgeous today, as always'

Maybe I should just be honest...

'Kayla, I've liked you for a really long time. You're the prettiest girl in school, and honestly, with all this crap that happened to me throughout the school year, you've always made me smile. I just want you to know that I love you. A lot. I would really like if we could go out sometime.' I thought.

Perfect.

The only problem, I couldn't say it in person. Id choke on the words and get so nervous id forget everything.

I wrote her a note, saying almost the exact same thing.

"Locker 1578, locker 1578" I said to myself, frantically looking for her locker, and trying to make it there before she does.

I saw her coming down the hall and I shoved it in the locker.

I ran down the hallway to my locker

I didn't see her all day and she never said one word to me.

THE NEXT DAY

after school, I got not one call or text from Kayla.

'Maybe she really doesn't like me..

At all' I thought to myself

The next day I came into school and everyone was whispering when I walked by.

I looked at what i was wearing to see if I looked stupid.

I looked fine, and I didn't smell, what could they be talking about.

Suddenly, Courtney Longstreet comes up to me.

She was smiling ear to ear

"Yes of course I'll go out with you!"

She said hugging me

I was in pure shock

I stood there, my mouth hanging open

"What the-" I said to myself

Ok I'm SO SO sorry I haven't been updating- I had a crazy weekend and this week will be even crazier.

Since it's my last week of school it's gonna be kinda wild.

Also sorry that it's short I thought of this just now so yeah!

You'll have to keep reading to see what happens!

But anyway Ill be updating a lot when summer comes, promise!
