Andromeda's POV:

"Daddy im sleepy" my ten year old voice sounded slightly squeaky as i poked my head into my dads office.

He looked up a small smile on his face as he ran a hand through his dark black hair "ok pumpkin let me finish talking to Darren about something important, then i can put you to sleep"

A small pout took over my face as i ran over to uncle Darren, my purple nightgown almost making me trip until i caught the fabric of his jeans in my small hands.

They both let out a small chuckle as i looked up "Uncle Darren pwease tell daddy to put me to sleep, max and maia already went to bed" i whined out.

Uncle darren reached down ruffling my pitch black hair "sorry squirt its important" i let out a huge sigh letting go of uncle Darren's pants i ran over to the leather couch in my dads office.

I crinkled my nose and stuck my tongue out at my dad as i sat there waiting for them to finish their talk.

With a roll of his eyes my dad used my nick name "Ok Andi you can stay until im done, but just this once okay"

I mumbled an agreement as i propped my head up against my hand watching as they began talking.

"We have noticed more sightings around the western borders, especially here" Uncle Darren pointed to the location on the large map that was spread out in front of them.

"Who are the sources that gave the info-" my dads voice was cut off when a knock came from the door, i glanced over as my dad spoke "come in".

Dennis my dads gamma pushed open the door with one hand as he cradled a little bundle in his arms.

"Sorry alpha she wakes up every time i put her down" Dennis smiled over at me as i held my hands out in excitement.

"Ohhh lemme hold her please uncle denny, im sitting down like im supposed to" Dennis walked over as my dad nodded in confirmation, i wrapped my arms around Ellie her two month old face lighting up as she saw me.

"Thank you Andi" Dennis leaned over kissing his daughters head before walking over to the table with my dad.

There conversation continued as i watched Ellie blow spit bubbles from her mouth, a smile formed on my lips as i watched her, little red curls covered her head and green eyes shine with innocence, my heart twisted slightly at how much she looked like her mom, aunt Danny or Danielle was a beautiful red head and uncle Denny's mate, she died giving birth to Ellie just like my mom had died, luckly uncle Denny decided not to fall into grief for his daughter, he wanted to be strong for her.

Suddenly my father let out a earth shattering growl that shook the office, a yelp escaped my lips as i looked up eyes wide with confusion as my dad spoke "take them to the bunker with the other women and children!" hurried over to me kissing my forehead "stay there pumpkin were under attack remember be strong, i love you" he stood back up his face set with determination as him and uncle Darren raced from the room.

"Come on Andi we have to go, hold Ellie tight for me ok" uncle Denny grabbed me up in his arms racing through the halls of the house as he busted out the back door, pain filled my limbs i could hear the screams of fellow pack members as they died, each loss of the bond made tears spill down my cheeks.

"U-uncle Denny don't lie its bad isn't it?" i looked up at his tear filled eyes, being older and more connected to the pack i knew the bonds breaking hurt more.

His voice came out gruff as he spoke "Its okay Andromeda" he set me down when we reached the escape tunnels four wolves stood guarding the entrance, they watched us with sad eyes as Denny spoke again "please watch out for my little Ellie, i know she is in good hands with you little Alpha" with those last words he shifted into a large chocolate wolf softly licking Ellie on the cheek before he nudged me into the hatch.

I looked down at Ellie as the hatched closed behind me, i could hear the sobs ahead of me where the others were waiting, even though i was only ten i knew what was happening, when uncle Denny said those words it was a sign that we were losing, my pack, our loved ones were dying.

"Stay strong" a soft voice whispered through my head as i walked ahead determination making me stand taller, we will be ok, we have to be.

"ANDI!!" i heard my name called out as two bodies the same size as mine smashed into me, careful not to drop Ellie i held her closer as Maia and Max latched on both sobbing into my shoulders.

"Oh Andi thank goodness!" aunt Ellen our beta female walked over wrapping her arms around all of us.

"Im ok you guys" i answered wiggling out of their hold so we wouldn't crush little Ellie who let out a small hiccup.

Surprisingly she had managed to fall asleep, still way to young to feel the bond of the pack her little eyes were closed in peace.

I looked up noticing the small number of about twenty adult pack females in our group, kids and teens under 16 were spread about some crying softly clutching each other in fear.

"Is this all who made it here aunt Ellen" my words came out as a whisper but with our wolf hearing i knew she had heard.

"Yes this is all of us..." she lead me over to an open space making me sit "give me a moment" she turned walking over to another female they started talking as max and maia sat down next to me.

Maia broke the silence first "Andi im scared..."

"I know maia, it will be okay, your mom will protect us, you know dads been training me a long time, you guys too" Maia layed her head on my shoulder dark brown curls covered some of her face as she looked over at her twin Max, his mocha colored skin was covered in a bit of dirt where he had probably fallen when they were running here, his brown hair was sticking out wildly as his dark brown eyes stared into his sisters.

Suddenly a rough voice whispered though the mind link "i love you Andromeda" my heart skipped a beat, pain worse then anything i had felt before twisted its way through my body, i cried out as Ellen rushed over pulling a now crying Ellie out of my arms, i looked around pain and horror filled the faces of adult females as the kids cried, i slumped over as grief filled howls could be heard from outside everyone had felt it, the woman around me screamed my name but it sounded distant, flames licked through my body as my spine arched, this could only mean one thing.

The Alpha was dead...
