I sighed as I slumped in my ugly green plastic chair waiting for the bell. It seemed like I had been watching the clock for hours, but it had only been minutes. "BRINGG!!" I jumped up and bolted to the door. Just before I slipped out I yelled "BYE!" to my teacher. She had responded, but I was already gone. As soon as I got outside my mom had pulled up. "Lily!"
I ran to the car,yanked open the door, and hopped in. "Geez!" My mom muttered "Why don't you just take my door off?!" We both giggled. Mom asked me how today was and I said fine we didn't do anything, but I did have to read 5 of their books this summer and write a page on each. My mom asked "When are you going to start?" I sighed "In a little while..."
Once we got home I ran upstairs to my room and threw my stuff in a corner. I flopped on my bed and went on my phone. I took a last day of school picture and posted it on snapchat. "Ahhh." I sighed school was finally over. My mom knocked on my door and said "Dinner is ready!" I didn't realize I was starving until she said that. I sprinted down stairs and inhaled my 2 chicken soft tacos. All of the sudden my phone started vibrating it was my friend Mia. I answered and she squealed "Do you want to have a sleepover?!" I said "Yessss!" "Let me ask my mom." I went to ask my mom and she agreed. I came back and yelled "See ya in a few"
I hung up and packed my bags. We drove straight to her house. When we got there Mia and I snacked and chatted till we fell fast asleep in her new room.
