It was silent.

Too silent.

You crept around the corner, machete in hand.

You smelled blood.

They must be feeding, or have fed recently.

Suddenly, something slammed into you, hard. You cried out a little bit when this thing- a vampire, gripped both of your hands and placed them above your head.

The vampire chuckled, "What are you gonna do now hunter, huh? Soon my family is gonna be here, and your going to suffer for what you've done."

You grunted, "Don't count on it," and kicked him right in the groin.

The vampire cried out as he let go of one of your hands. You grabbed the machete that you had dropped and hacked off his other hand that was gripping your hand.

The vampire hissed and you quickly stood up.

"Oh yeah, kind of hard for your little vamp family to come and get me when they're all dead," you pointed out.

The vampire had a slight fear in his eyes right before you chopped his head off.

A few hours later you had dragged all the vamps into that hellhole they called a home and burned them all, the house with it.

Then, after that, you went to your motel room, got a nice (not really) shower, and was laying on your bed.

This was your life. Going out, killing the bad things, go to sleep, repeat.

You were pretty much a lone hunter, but there were two brothers that you didn't mind hunting with. The Winchester brothers.

Sure, one of them had started the apocalypse, and the other turned into a demon and chummed up with Crowley, but hey, who cares?

There was one member of the party the Winchesters (mostly Dean) had talked about.

Castiel.

To you, he sounded pretty cool.

You wanted to meet him, you'd always wanted to meet an angel the first time you had found out they were real.

You'd never gotten the chance though.

You were so caught up in your thoughts that you didn't hear you phone ringing.

You looked at your phone, it was Sam Winchester.

"Hey Sam!" you said after you accepted the call.

"Hey Y/N! Look I can't really talk that much right now, but there is this hunt we're on and it looks like there are two separate places where these werewolves hang out. Anyway, Dean and I are going to take one of them, and we thought it would be a good idea if you and Cass could go check out the other one. If you don't have time I ca-"

You interrupted him, "No, no I'm free. Where you guys at?"

He answered, "We're at the Quiki Mart in Fayetteville, Arkansas."

"Alrighty, I'll meet up with you tomorrow!"

"Alright, bye Y/N."

"Bye."

You were finally going to meet Castiel.

Never mind that, you were even going to go on a hunt with him!

You were so excited that it took you about 2 to 3 hours to go to sleep.

It only took you around five hours to get there. You had told the boys when you were about thirty minutes out, so they were standing there waiting when you got there.

You got out of your '65 Mustang.

There he was.

He had dark hair with crystalline blue eyes. He also had on a tan trench coat.

Damn.

You walked up to them.

"So," Dean stated, "Castiel, Y/n. Y/N, Castiel."

You put out your hand and smiled, "H-hi Castiel, it's nice to u-uh finally meet you." you were honestly starting to feel flustered.

He put out his hand and gripped yours, "It's a pleasure to finally meet you too, Y/N"

You kind of just stared at each other for a second and then you pulled you hand away and spoke up, "So, werewolves, huh?"

Sam nodded, "Yeah, there are a few killing people in town. But they have hiding spots, one right here in town and then there is one about ten miles out. Since you've been in your car for a while we figured you and Cass could take the closest one"

"Yeah, that would be fine. I've got my gun loaded with silver bullets, does Castiel have one?"

Dean shook his head, "Oh uh no, let me see if I can find a spar-"

"I've got an extra one I can lend."

Sam nodded, "Alright, meet back here?"

"Yep."

Sam and Dean headed towards the Impala.

You and Cass hopped into your car, and you drove off towards the address Sam had texted you.

The few minutes you were driving, you had asked Castiel a few questions, but you tried not to be ultra invasive.

Castiel was really nice, and whenever you had looked at him when he talked, he always looked straight into your eyes, it was almost like he was looking into your soul.

When you and Castiel got there, you saw it was some weird old abandoned factory.

Why does is it always some creepy place? You thought.

You saw Castiel shrug.

D-did he just hear my thoughts?

You shrugged it off and hopped out of your car.

You walked towards your trunk and Cass stood right next to you.

You loaded a gun up with silver bullets and handed to Cass.

"Ready?" you asked.

"Ready."
