Tati's POV

"What's her problem, Ell?" I ask my cousin in a hushed tone.

"She's not one for preps," he responds.

"I am not a prep!" I say half joking, half honest, but playfully punch Ellington on the arm anyway. He opens up the door on his side of the car and gets out.

"Honestly, Tati, look at yourself, you're the queen of preps." He motions to my outfit.

"At least it's better than being sibling-zoned by Rydel." My comment gets some "ohh" from the crowd that formed around us. I recognize Ross and the two people in the car, but after that I'm completely dumbfounded.

"Hey, Tati, it's nice to see you again," Ross says as he pulls me in for a friendly embrace.

"Where's everyone else?" I ask.

"Riker and my mom are out shopping, and Rocky and Rydel are waiting for Ellington at some yoga class," Ross responds and turns to Ell. "Shouldn't you get going to class?"

"After I get all of Tatianna's junk out of the back of my car," he grumbles and lets out a sigh.

"That's what you get for calling me a prep, darling," I respond, in the most drama queen-like way I can and give him a wink. A few suitcases later, he slams the trunk shut, grabs his yoga mat and away he goes. Ross brings me over to the group of strangers that surrounded Ell and I before.

"This is Luke," he says and motions to a boy about 6'5" with a lip piercing and blonde hair that probably adds another four inches. He isn't exactly someone I would imagine Ross to become friends with but they look a lot alike and I feel like he is secretly Ross's long lost twin brother, but I don't bother asking.

"Hello," he says and waves from where he is standing. He talks funny, but I'm not sure what country he's from, Canada maybe?

"WELCOME. TO. OUR. COUNTRY," I say in a rather welcoming tone. He looks a little confused, but I try to make conversation anyway. "How are those Maple Leafs, eh?"

"I'm from Australia," he comments. Poor guy doesn't even know where he's from.

"Okay," I say. I don't want to fight a Canadian, I heard they're very good at hockey and everyone knows that those horses get pretty feisty.

"Um, moving on," Ross interjects, "This is Calum." He points to an Asian boy with dark black hair and olive skin.

"How is Asi-" There is a loud whistle coming from behind the group. "Oh my gosh, someone help that poor little girl!" I yell.

"She sure is a keeper," pipes the Maroon haired girl that was in the car ride.

"Thanks," I say and give her a nice big smile.

"Anytime. Mikey," she turns to the boy with aqua blue hair, "Let's go inside and play some video games." The two walk away and into the house.

"I should probably go too, that loud whistle was my tea," says the Asian one.

"I should make sure Calum gets there safely," says the bandana boy, whose name I didn't catch.

"I, um, I think Liv is calling me," says Luke and rushes inside.

"Who's is the boy in the bandana?" I ask Ross after everyone leaves.

"That's Ashton, and they're not from Canada, they're from Australia."

"I know, I'm not stupid Ross."

"Then why did you act that way?"

"If they think I'm a prep, I'm going to act like a prep," I respond and also walk into the house.

"Sometimes, you are so difficult."

"I'm a Ratliff, it's what we do."

A/N: Hey guys! I'm amanda_tbd and I mostly write Tatianna's POVs. I'd like to say that anything in this chapter is not meant to offend anyone. I know that Calum isn't Asian, and that people in Canada aren't like that at all. So, bye bye.
