I was laying asleep on the floor, or so they told me. I'd just passed out after a shot the head leaders had given me. I looked around, although you couldn't see much. There was nothing but a dim light bulb. There was a table right in the center of the room with a glass of water on it. Water! something I haven't seen since they dropped me in the dessert for a couple months. I stood up, ignoring my sleeping leg. I sat in the rocky wooden chair and took a gulp of water. I wiped my mouth on my dirty shirt as I hear a whisper voice. "Silly girl. I thought I taught you better than that." Then it was gone. I looked around and nothing was there. Not an intercom, not even a door. I took a minute to think about the voice and the strange room. Soon I heard cable belts begin to squeak to life. The whole room was moving. Almost elevator like. Everything in the room shook. The water spilled on the floor, sending sparks flying as it toor straight through the metal, leaving a 5 inch hole in the ground next to me. I got up from my chair and ran to the wall as the hole started expanding rapidly. I banged on the wall with my fists screaming my heart out. Soon we jolted to a halt, sending me flying toward the hole. I felt my arm touch the hot burning metal and I screamed. My arm started burning and turning bright purple. The wall in front of me opened. I saw a crowd of people starring at me. Boys and girls in dirty clothes and tore shoes just like me. I seen some dirty looks and looks of excitement. I stepped out and onto the grass as the whole room fell back to where it came from with a whoosh. My hand was still gripping the spot on my arm. I uncovered it and blood poured from a large pimple like spot. A girl walked up to me and pulled a gauze out of her little bag she carried on her bag and wrapped it around my arm. "Don't move it or get it wet. Last time I saw a burn that bad, well he ended up over there." She pointed to a small plot of land with headstones in the ground. "T-thanks." I muttered. "No problem newbie." She said and walked back to the crowd, bring a couple girls back with her. a boy approached me. "Hey nice to met you. I'm Casey. And you are?" he asked. He flipped his brown shaggy hair from his eyes. "Paige." I said looking to his hazel eyes. "Well Paige. Welcome to hell."
