Chapter 6

     Hinatak ako ni papa sa sala at binigyan ng leksyon. And, why is my dad wearing a bra? Wait... And why is Peter here too? Making out with, Aiden? THIS IS ALL MESSED UP.

     Bumagsak ako sa kama, gising na gising sa panaginip... ISANG PANAGINIP?! So hindi kami ni Peter?! Oh sheet. But I remember it so good. Oo, niligawan ko siya naalala ko.

     Wala si ate sa tabi, pero ang aga parin ng oras. It was about 5 AM and I checked my phone. Peter was one of the flooders who overtook my notifications. I called him in this time in the morning and it took a while before he answered.

 

     "Bakla, tayo ba?"

     "-- Uh, yeah? Yeah."

     "Oh, okay. Bye dreamboy."

 

     Phew, kami pa pala. Akala ko na panaginip na ang lahat. Hm, parang wala ngay akong maalala kung paano ako napunta dito. Basta, yun na. Kami parin pala. Kaya, natulog muli ako.

     Ginising ako ng phone ko. Someone was calling. Si 'gago' ang tumatawag. Kilala niyo na yan.

 

     "What is it, Aiden?"

     "-- Hey, where are you? Peter and I have been waiting for you here at the park. You promised yesterday."

     "What?! I didn't promise anything!"

     "-- Oh yes you did. Ikaw nga mismo tumawag sakin para i-verify mo pa eh. Kasama ko pa si Peter as you said."

 

     I heard Peter squealing on the other side of the phone. My guts went in and I guess I didn't remember a lot of things lately. I fixed my hair lightly, but never bathed. Put on my finest jeans and thinking what Aiden was gonna do.

     Nakita ko ate sa baba habang nasa kainan.

     "San sina ma at pa?"

     "-- Wala. Hinatid si pa sa airport. Malapit nang umuwi si mama."

     Oo nga pala. Papa was leaving for Texas and I wasn't even able to say goodbye. I just wish he has a safe trip. Habang wala pa si mama, sinulit ko nang lumabas bago niya pa malaman na ginawa ko ang bawal.

     Peter's ring was still on my finger, my heart etched over the eternity latched onto it. No matter what, we are strong together. And if Aiden tries to get near me, I'm officially taken. At last, they were walking around together in the park. Who knew Aiden could get along with someone he saw as a theat?

     "So guys, I'm here. Ano na?"

 

     Pina-distance ni Aiden si Peter for some reason. Lumuhod si Aiden and naglabas ng mga rosas at singsing. Ugh, please don't tell me this is another proposal. I'm officially taken.

 

     "No, Aiden. I'm sorry..."

 

     Hindi pa siya nagsasalita, I said no in immediacy. He looked at me with confusion and forced me with his proposal.

     "Stop it, Aiden. Face it. Kaya ko pinapunta si Peter dito kasi kami na. Right, dreamboy?"
