Vetken's POV:
"Everybody was running frantically...but from what?" I thought to myself, wondering why all of a sudden the downtown area of our city, Narvik, lit up in blazes on the seemingly normal afternoon. I got up from my observation perch by the second story window in my room and went off to look for Libra; he might know something about it cuz hell my brother happens to know every little shit that happens around here. Gliding through the hallways to his room, I stood there at his door and basically began to holler for him to get his ass up so I could "interrogate" him about all the smoke and sirens emitting from the city (we lived in a house on the hill just barely residing in the city limits).
After a long, like 20 seconds, wait I couldn't contain my bubbling irritation so I kicked open the door leading to his room and was taken back by the scene in front of me. Libra was bent over clawing at his heart with pain written all over his face. Sweat drenched his shirt and copious amount of the liquid beads could be seen all over his face. I immediately realized this was something bad, really, really bad for my tough-as-nails brother to be bent over and trashed like this. I ran to his side and tried getting through to him but I could tell his pain had overtaken his responsiveness and something had to be done soon; the poor bastard looked like he was going to die and I couldn't let that happen...not after what I promised my mentor, trainer, and most importantly family friend on his death bed. And then it hit me. The initial pain felt like someone had stabbed me over a thousand times with a knife all over my body and then my body began to shiver uncontrollably. As the waves of pain kept rolling in, I began to see blurry stars in my vision. While feeling like hell was being unleashed within me, I manage to glimpse at my brother and saw him slumped over. I let loose a huge groan and my whole body excitingly descends into darkness.
Sagittarius's POV:
Peering up from my novel, I looked out into the city's bay with a puzzled look. Why is there fire everywhere and more importantly where is my sister. I knew it wasn't that time of month again, but knowing her anything was possible. I quickly bookmarked my page and hurried about the house to find Skytten. I let out a huge breath of relief as I found her sharpening her already super-sharp sword.
"Hey....do you hear or see all that commotion happening? Last time I checked we weren't fighting any wars but hell it sure looks like it" I inquired. Skytten looked at me with her signature 'don't know, don't care' grin and simply said "Nope."
"...what the hell" I thought to myself and pulled out my phone, which for some reason was dead. I remembered charging it just moments ago and the phone was brand new so something was up. I, I mean we, lived in Denmark. On a coastal city known for its beautiful scenery and amazing hikes. The chaos unfolding is something that just doesn't happen around here.
Me being curious, decided to ask Skytten "Want to go with me over to Libra's house? I bet he'll know what's up. The dude seems to magically know everything that is happening." Again, I got the 'don't know, don't care' look grin as a response but I saw it in her eyes again. Regret, remorse, sadness....I wanted to figure out what was happening so I dropped out of the scene by just turning around and leaving.
"She still isn't over it...it wasn't her that did it but why does she keep feeling guilty every time his name was brought up. God damn it why is life so difficult sometimes" I thought to myself. Gently closing the front door behind me, I began the short walk through the Norwegian countryside to reach Libra's house.
Skytten's POV:
I let out a huge sigh as Sagittarius left for Libra's house. I hated how she knows how emotionally jarring it is for me to hear Libra's name but she keeps. fucking. bringing. it. up!! Like what the hell! I got up to go get some food when i heard a huge explosion going off in the distance. Something's not right and it doesn't take a genius to understand that but I'm hungry so I'll let Sagittarius update me later. Suddenly my phone begins to ring. Should I ignore it? My inner voice keeps telling me to just ignore it and eat but then my common sense tells me to go pick it up. The phone keeps ringing.
