Chapter 31

Chapter 31: Lexi's POV:

Previously...

'"Lucy whispers in my ear her plan and I nod my head in agreement. And that's how we ended up here in the grocery store with 3 chilli's, a can of dog food and some other disgusting foods that will surely go down a treat for a certain Chase Adams.'

~ ~ ~ 

We, meaning Chase, Lucy and I, have just arrived at the supermarket when the excitement of whats about to come has hit me. I look in the back seat to see Lucy jumping around to the music full of glee, It makes my heart melt in awe of her cuteness. I look from Lucy to Chase and see a grimace on his face as he is lost in thought, clearly about whats about to come. 

"Are you ready?" I aks Chase, snapping him out of his train of thought. 

"Honestly, I don't think I'll ever be ready," He says covering his grimace with a smile that is way too forced to be real. I erupt into laughter and after a few minutes, i compose myself enough that I am only slightly giggling. When I look back at Chase he has a real genuine smile on his face which I return attempting to hide the cheekiness from my grin. 

We all hop out of the car and make our way through the doors of the local supermarket. Already decorated with Halloween decorations. Lucy and I walk the aisles with a concentration like no other, a concentration I never knew a child could have. We sort through the shelves upon shelves of food to find the weirdest and possibly grossest foods known to man. 

When we find the right amount of ingredients we make our way back to the car, walking with a horrified Chase. who, honestly seems to be having trouble walking, from nothing but fear. I decided it would be best if I drove home and he blindly agreed still in shock from whats about to come. 

We arrive Chase's house not long after, our handsful of random food items and the widest grins spreading across our faces, well only Lucy's and Mine as Chase is petrified for what's about to come. 

We set everything up in the kitchen along with a Blender. 

Lucy runs off saying she has something perfect and I go with it, still setting up the ingredients. Also looking through the fridge and cupboards for anything that could also be used. When I finish lucy comes back into the room holding two chef hats and one small apron and one larger one. I grab them from her and help her put hers on and when I'm finished with that I get myself ready too. 

Chase is sitting across from us on the other side of the island holding back a grin of seeing us dressed in out Chef outfits. I do a few poses and this makes the smile spread across Chase's face but he is quick to hide it in an attempt to keep the look of anger on his face, but his doing a really bad job of that. 

"Hello and welcome to Lexi's and Lucy's ultimate cooking show," I say this in a deep voice making Lucy, who is standing on a chair so she can see over the bench, giggle. "Today we will be making a juice like no other, Lucy, do you want to do the honours of putting in the first ingredient"

"Of course" she giggles "we can start with some mashed Banana, Ewwww"

"how lovely" Chase say rolling his eyes"

"ooh lets put in some hot sauce that will go great with mushy banana's," I say while holding in my laugh.

we go on like this until the blender is full. Filling the smoothy with a concoction of ingredients, they are as followed...

- Mashed Banana's

- Hot Sauce

- Tuna

- Lemon Juice

- Anchovies 

- Milk

- Cheese

- Spam

- Canned dog food

- 3 chilli's 

- And a few sour smarties (put in by Lucy, something to sweeten it up, when she did this Chase rolled his eyes in fake annoyance but couldn't help wear the brightest grin in the world)

"Are you ready to turn these ingredients into the most delicious smoothie ever!" I ask Lucy

"I am so ready" She all but Squeals

We turn the blender on and hear the roar of the machine as it mixes the weird foods into a brownish looking smoothy. I take the lid off and instantly put my hands on my nose to block the stench emitting from the disgusting drink. I pour it into a glass and push it over to Chase. 

He slowly but surely lifts the glass to his face and just as his about to take a drink Beverly walks into the room and all but screams as she see's the mess we've made. Chase puts the glass down and sighs a sigh of relief. 

"What do you think you're doing?"

"It was their fault" Chase points to the two of us who are wearing guilty looks. I ended up spending the night washing the kitchen from head to toe while Chase sat there Laughing like a Child. Though after a few minutes Chase helped me out and we finished it way sooner than I thought. 

Overall it was a great day and I was sad that it came to a close cause I knew that tomorrow I would have to deal with my mother and I was not ready for that.

Hi so i know you all must be really mad at me but I have had the busiest few weeks of my life no joke, first it was the beginning of the school year for me (I Live in Australia) and then it was my birthday and you know I need time to relax and all that, but then school got so crazy and for some reason teachers found it fitting to give me homework every session even though  they knew we where getting homework form other classes. So yea that's my reason for my absence.
