Two weeks after the ball, you stood in the living room with Eliza, who was stressing as Alexander nervously sought Mr. Schuyler's blessing. Mr. Schuyler stood up and Eliza panicked, gripping your arm so tight you thought you'd lose circulation.

"Oh no," she whispered, nearly in tears, "He's going to say no and..." Eliza stopped as Mr. Schuyler extended his hand to Hamilton, who shook it readily. Eliza leaped into Alexander's arms, kissing him happily. When she pulled away, his face was red and you laughed.

Eliza ran and hugged you tightly. "I'm getting married, (Y/N)!" she squealed, her eyes sparkling with tears of happiness. You ruffled her hair and pushed her towards Hamilton.

"Get out of here, you lovebirds." you teased. Before the two walked out, you grabbed Hamilton and whispered in his ear, "If you hurt her, I swear to God, I will rip you to shreds." You pulled away and smiled sweetly at him.

Hamilton laughed and patted your arm. "Don't worry," he reassured, "I'd never hurt her." Eliza grabbed him and pulled him outside, giggling. You watched them happily stroll down the street.

Angelica came up beside you and spoke, "They look so happy

Angelica came up beside you and spoke, "They look so happy." You looked at her and could see her eyes brimming over with tears. Angelica bit her lip then ran upstairs. You ran up after her and found her sobbing on her bed. You sat down next to her and wrapped your arms around her.

"It'll be alright," you repeated over and over as she wept over her lost opportunity.

John turned towards the church doors and watched in awe as Eliza walked down the aisle on the arm of Mr. Schuyler. Her face was obscured by a white veil and the white dress that adorned her displayed her figure perfectly. John looked at Alexander, who was standing at the altar, unable to take his eyes off his beautiful bride. Eliza arrived at the altar and Mr. Schuyler handed her over to Alexander, who was near tears. The priest began the ceremony.

"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to join this man and this woman in holy matrimony." He turned to Alexander. "Alexander Hamilton,  do you take this woman to be your wife, to live together in (holy) matrimony, to love her, to honour her, to comfort her, and to keep her in sickness and in health, forsaking all others, for as long as you both shall live?"

Alexander smiled. "I do."

The priest then turned to Eliza. "Elizabeth Schuyler,  do you take this man to be your husband, to live together in (holy) matrimony, to love him, to honour him, to comfort him, and to keep him in sickness and in health, forsaking all others, for as long as you both shall live?"

Eliza's eyes were filled with tears. She whispered, "I do."

The priest then said, "Mr. Hamilton, repeat after me. I, Alexander Hamilton, take you, Elizabeth Schuyler, to be my wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part."
