"Rise and shine, sunshine!" my mom calls chirpily. "No" I deadpan. "It's Saturday" I say like a stroppy little kid. "And?" my mother drags. "And I 'want' to sleep in!" I state. "No" she says opening my curtains revealing the large, arch glass window door that leads out to my balcony. "THE LIGHT! IT BURNS!" I complain loudly with an over-dramatic attitude. I drop my head back and poke my tongue out playing dead. "Very funny" my mother drags as she crawls onto my bed. She climbs over me to open the curtains releasing the light from my window seat into my room. I cringe as the blackness goes red. Roll over to my bedside cupboard, where I feel around for my sunnies. My mother gets up. "It's Saturday" she informs Again. "Yeah. So?" I ask putting my sunnies on and sitting up. "What's happening on Sunday?" she asks. "Ummm" I mumble trying to think about it, I have the memory if a goldfish, most people say but I have a fairly good memory it's just unreminded things go to the forgotten bin. "Hmmmm" I tap my chin with my finger and furrow my eyebrows in deep thought. "I don't know!" I throw my hands in defeat. "Its your sisters-" I cut her off as I finish her sentence "wedding day!" I say loudly in realisation. "Yeah" she drags with a 'finally' tone in her mellowed voice. "Right" I blink. "I need to finish up my packing and get dressed after I have a shower and ill be pretty much ready. How bout you?" I inform and ask. "Pretty much the same things" she says. I sigh and swing my bare-ish legs over the edge of my bed as I rise to my feet with a large yawn.

I skip over to my sports bag. It sounds small but its actually one of those biggish Adidas ones that fit heaps in it. I stuff in some more junk I know I won't wear but I take it anyway. I pack some more shoes as well. I pull out my messenger bag and shove in my chargers essentials and some makeup. You know what the average female would stuff into her handbag. I then skip along into my bathroom where I have a fairly short feeling shower that really lasted 22 minutes and 45 seconds. Yeah I time myself. I plop out and savage out in my closet looking for something comfortable to wear in our long car drive to San Francisco. My sister, Caitlin is 21 and on Her 4th year of college. She's having a big wedding in San Francisco with her awesome high school lover/fiancé, Kayden I mean I think it's weird how their names are so similar but everyone calls him KD so its cool. I think it'll be awesome but it sucks cause my mom had to wake me up at 5:30AM! just so we could get ready and stuff by 7:00am so we can get an early start and be there before lunch to freshen up and stuff. I love car drives though so its cool And I get to bring along my two best friends; Tori and Aiden, speaking of similar names, my names Arden. Aiden, Arden! see? hehe.

I finally discover some new clothes with the labels still on them. I feel excited towards the fact that clean clothes still exist in my room. Don't ask. I slip on the tight leather pants and a Red, White and blue USA jumper over a plain black t-shirt and my favourite pair if black ankle heel-Boots that are around the 3inch mark. I fill my dark brown eyes with a Ton of black eye liner and mascara simply cause I like them. And a coat of pale lipstick. I let my hair dry off straight as I grab my things & run down stairs. "MOM! you ready yet?" I shout out to my mom and soon enough a piercing reply comes screeching from her room. "Yes sweetie, I'm ready!" I have a weird mother. I grin widely and text both, Aiden and tori. I skip out to our black 4WD as I shove out gear into the boots and climb up into the passenger seat. I honk the horn a few times before my mom finally climb I to the car and starts it up. We go to collect aiden and tori which takes about 20 including the time it takes to reach the edge of Hayes-brook.

We make it to the hotel ,it seems a bit fancy but I just shrug it off. Perks of being loaded I guess. The first thing tori and I decide to do is explore the resort before being lead back to our rooms by my mom. Tori decides to wear just a peachy lace flairy dress with her hair in curls and a black headband with white converse and I decide on a spaghetti strap pencil dress that comes to above the knees with comic print all over it, a black leather jacket and the same boots from before with a pair if black tights. I tie my hair in a careless messy bun and I run downstairs with tori and dressed up Aiden as we're the only three late comers. "Sorry Kate!" I apologise, approaching my sister with a small kiss in either Cheek and a sisterly hug. I pat down my dress as I take a seat next to Caitlin and in the other side if me, sits tori then Aiden. "It's alright sis" she says with that stunt smile she owns. Her blonde hair in curls falling behind her ears being held by a clip. Her white lace dress resembles a mini wedding dress. I notice all eyes on me. "Hi" I wave awkwardly. "Hi" a bunch of people say. I try to contain my smirk. As everyone suddenly puts their heads down. All but one person that is, the guy across from looked about 17-18 with longish messy dark brown hair and amazing blue eyes. We make eye contact and I mouth "hi" to him but he just puts his head down without response taking a bite from his chicken. I copy him and try to shake him out if my mind but ever so often I uncontrollably look up to take a peep at him. Again and again. "That's Matthew" Katie whispers to me. "Huh? who" I say stick in a gaze watching the cute boy laugh along with everyone around him. "Matthew Anderson, he's a family friend of Kaydens, he's your age if you're interested..." she explains. I shake my head and turn to her. "It wouldn't work out anyway. I've never even kissed a boy let alone had a boyfriend. I struggle to talk to any guy besides Aiden. Just forget it...." I say, sadly.
