Fighting Spirits: Awakening

Chapter 1: Beginning

On a trip to a foggy forest, Two male walk inside of it while looking around, trying to find something.

"You sure we are in the right place?" said One of them while looking at the other one with a Pale face.

"Yeah, it said it here in the Map" said the other male as he show the map to his friend.

Then a fire arrow hits the map and burns it, as both men's looks at it burn, "We are going to get Loss and your fiance will get mad at you, again."

"Yep" said the first male looking in front of him as multiple barbarian comes out of the fog and aim more Arrows and prepare their Swords.

"Whistle for Violent Raven, gotta send a message, you cover me" said the second Male as he sits down and pulls out a piece of paper and pencil and start writing.

"Don't have to ask me twice" said the first male as he started whistling and pull out his White long Blade with a Oceanic Blue color diamond on its hilt.

The Barbarians saw the Diamonds and went after it as the Male holding the blade looks up, "Be I can beat them with my eyes close?"

The male writing down the note smirk, "Bet 10 Phoenix stone, and a paid dinner for you and Azura" said him

"Welp, time to pick the most expensive place right....about..." He quickly closed his eyes as he did multiple swift strikes and behind the Barbarians he appear.

"Now?" he said as the male lower his blade, and left the barbarians disarm and scare, "Don't worry we don't kill unless we are order to, so bye bye" said the male as he slowly walks back and the Barbarians ran away.

Then a Black Raven with purple highlights on it wings came at the Male sitting down, "Take this to your Master" said Male who was sitting down and handed the note to the Raven.

The Raven took off and flew away as the Male with the big sword walk behind the other male, "Well Starrk, let go and find that village." said the Male

"Yeah, better than nothing Kiryu" said Stark and he stand up, soon both Kiryu and Stark started walking once more to get out of the forest.

-Village of Mercury-

As the village was being attacked by a unknown enemy, multiple fire and darkness was spreading around the city as it was mostly evil forces.

"Target the Civilians and Gold, the Empress want more resources!" said one of the Goons as he saw multiple kids hiding on a building. "Hehe target practice!"

The Goon ran to the kids before a Light yellow arrow through his head and kill him, as he lay down on the floor dead.

The others Goons felt the boss dying as they saw two figure, and rush to them to attack.

"Not good enough..." said Kiryu as he slash through all of them in a blink of an eye as they all fell with poodles of blood.

3 Kids came out of their hiding spot as Stark met up with them, holding a Bow, "Where your parents?" he said to the kids

"...We....are...orphans..." said one of the kids as they look at each other, Kiryu had a soft side to kid as he rush to them and grab them.

"Can we keep them!?" he said as he held onto them, "Being hug by a stranger? And you? It there choice not mine" said Stark.

The kids were confused as they look at Kiryu and then to Stark as they just save them, "Who are you two?" ask a young girl in the middle of the trio as she was wearing a eyepatch while having green hair, and dirty cloth as clothes.
