The life of the Spirits.

Chapter 1

The day is gray in Graham Washington as the 6th 7th and 8th graders head into their 1st period. The rain is coming down hard. When you enter the building you hear sneakers screeching on the floor the sound of teenagers and teachers talking. The janitor is seen cleaning up a mess left by some sevys (7th graders). Mrs Inman and Mrs D are walking around the commons while Mr Barnes is potrolling the hallways for kids doing bad things, just like they do every morning. At 7:00 the bell rings for the kids to put things in their lockers. By the Orchestra room Jordan, Maggie, Armoni, Kala, and Michaela were waiting for the door to be unlocked to put their instruments away so they could go to mrs Alwert for first period.

Maggie; ( Angrily saying)  Why doesnt anybody ever unlock the door for us they only ever care about the band freaks! And were is Cassie she is usually here by now.

Jordan; ( spoting her friend happily and smirking) There she is!

The others look down the halway to see Cassie holding hands with HUNTER BOURLAND!!! The two are smiling and honestly verry happy as they walk taword the orchestra room so cassie can put her instrument up and go to class. When they get there Cassie puts her instrument down and Hunter grabbs her and turns her around and then he kisses her right infront of her friends. When they stop kissing he wraps her in a hug and sways her back and forth until his friends show up and start talking to him and Cassie. The two say goodbye and they went their ways for class. When Hunter was out of sight Cassie turned around blushy and smiling with butterflies. She turned around to see her Orchestra friends all staring at her with questioned looks on their faces.

Cassie; ( shocked qustionly saying) What!?

Michaela; Your parents are going to kill you!

Cassie; Its not like your going to tell them.

Michaela; No but what if they find out.

Cassie; They wont, trust me.

Maggie; Thats what you said about Ricky last year. Raising her eybrows and tilting her head.

Armoni looked at his watch that read 7:10 ten minutes till they had to be in class. Mrs Inman walked up and unlocked the door for them, they walk in and put their instruments on the shelf, walk out and head to Mrs Alwerts room. Before they went into thier class they went to their lockers to get their books. The teachers who didnt have a first period were seen outside the school talking and heading to the parking lot to go to starbucks or something like that. The sixth graders were all running about to get to the first class block for 3 hours. Cassie and Jordan were walking together to get to their lockers.

Jordan; So... when did you and mister gingerhead start you know dating?

Cassie; (Thinking hardly) Like only 12ish hours ago.(her voice getting high)

A bell sound comes from Cassies phone and a message appears on the screen from Hunter that reads "Turn around" Cassie did as the message said and with a smile on her face she turned around and was greated with the flash of a camera and arms throwing her up high and holding her there and spinning her around. It was Hunter he dropped her down just a little bit to kiss her and spin her around again he then puts her down all the way and starts dancing her around the little area by hers and Jordans locker. The both of them laughing and gigiling together were interupted by Joran shoving Cassies book in between them. Cassie grabbs the book as Hunter leans against some lockers and holds Cassies waist pulling her close to him to kiss her. One of Hunters friends interrupts them and Jordan is thankful.

Joseph; (yelling teasingly) OOOOH WE GOT A GINGER BROWNIE WE GOT A GINGER BROWNIE OVER HEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hunter; (blushing lightly) Shut up doofis!

Jordan looking at her phone read the time 7:19. O.O She grabbed Cassies arm and yanked her away from Hunter. Hunterpushed Cassie playfully and Cassie pushed him in the direction of his class. The hallway clears as the 7:20 am bell rings the time that class starts. In Mrs Alwerts room all you can hear is the blazing sound of her voice. Loud and non-stop. At 8;10 the kids pack up and head out for 2nd period. In the hall Cassie sees Sydney running from someone.

Cassie; (picking sydney up and looking at her) Sydney whats going on?

Sydney; Strange man is in the building was chasing me. (worried look on her face now). Whats happening Cassie Im worried.

Cassie; (with an angry look on her face putting sydney down and an angry tone in her voice.) Some bitch is bout to die.

Hunter; (not knowing whats going on comes up and grabs Cassie) Hey Baby girl what wrong?

Stranger; (with a gun pointing it down the hallway toward the direction of Hunter Cassie and Sydney) CLEAR A PATH OR BE SHOT!!

Cassie pushes Sydney into Jordans arms then Hunter grabs Cassie to get her out of the way but Cassie refuses and glares at him starring down at her. She takes her eyes from him and looks down to where her boots are and then looks back at him. Hunter looks down and sees the top handle part of a pair of scissors. He kisses her forehead and backs away puting his hands up in surrender and everyone but Cassie copys him.

Stranger; (loud and demanding) YOU TOO LITTLE BRAT!!!!

Cassie bennds down and grabs the handle of the scissors as she focuses on his hands and just wear to aim still slightly bent over to where the stranger couldnt see the scissors looks at his face and says..

Cassie; Not today bitch.

She stands and flings the scissors out and throws them like a knife and they hit the stranger in the hand, his triger finger. Cassie dodges out of the way as the scissors hit the man and the triger is pulled. The alarm sounded and cops showed up and everyone as we see is evacuated from the building scrreming in fear and some little kids crying in fear.
