While I starred deep into Maxon's warm brown eyes, I realized that there was no one I'd rather be standing next to at this moment.
"The wedding ring is a symbol of eternity. It is an outward sign of an inward and spirtual bond which unites two hearts in endless love. And now as a token of your love and of your deep desire to be forever united in heart and soul, you Maxon, pay place a ring on the finger of your bride."
Jared, looking adorable in a little tux, came over to Maxon with the ring on a little pillow. Maxon looked at him with a genuine smile,
"Thank you very much, sir." Jared's face lite up, being appreciated by the soon-to-be king meant so much to him. I pictured holidays with my family at the palace. Maxon chasing jared around playfully and May giggling with lucy. Maxon not growing up with siblings must have been hard, but know he had an extended family. I knew that Maxon was definitly the man i wanted to spend the rest of my life with. Maxon looked into my eyes, lifted my hand and slid the ring on my finger. "America, I give you this ring as a symbol of my love and faithfulness to you." The ring was breathtaking, filled with blue diamonds, my favorite color. An engraved message lay on the bottom of the ring, "tugging my ear whenever." I could feel tears rising quickly, it was so personal. This would always be our "thing". I wispered, 'I love it.' knowing that I couldnt kiss the groom until i had permission. The Minister began speaking again,
"By the same token America, you may place a ring on the finger of your groom." Jared once again walked towards me with the pillow. I had my maids arrange plans to have a ring made for Maxon. It wasn't anything fancy like the one he had made for me. It was shining silver with... with a rebel star on the inside of the ring?! I had not asked for this... Maybe it would have been a good idea to check the ring before giving to the groom for every one to see on live Tv. I hadnt known what it meant before we met Georgia. So chances are that no one else would give thought to it either. It probably wasnt visible for the cameras to see anyways. But the question was, who made this? Or made last minute alternations? I picked up the ring still anxious.
"Maxon, I give you this ring as a symbol of my love and faithfulness to you." I sliped the ring on his finger. He hadnt noticed the rebel symbol. Now the symbol was well hidden with his finger. Maxon looked into my eyes, his so calm making me feel safe.
"Do you Maxon Schreave, take America Singer to be your bewedded wife?" He has the most soothing voice.
"I do."
"Do you America Singer take Maxon Shreave to be your bewedded husband?"
"I do."
"You are now husband and wife." The minister looked at Maxon. "You may kiss the bride."
