Ready to see the queen (a poem)

A fairy prances from flower to flower

Up to the big fairy tower

to see the fairy queen

She says hello to a friendly slug

And waves her tiny hand to another bug

As she goes to see the queen

Pretty pink petals soft and sweet

Bounce beneath her tiny feet

She is off to see the queen

The fairy reaches the golden stairs

And checks to make sure she has the pears

She brought to give the queen

She fixes her hair

Says a small prayer

She's ready to see the queen
