Jungkooks face turns bright red as he passes by his crush, Sowon.

Even though she is 2 years older than him, he pretty much sees her everyday which is a blessing for him.

It started 2 years ago when Sowon first moved to his school. Her locker was right next to his. It was the first time Jungkook had developed feelings for a girl. He was confused and hated the feeling of being nervous around a girl. But now he was used to it and turned bright red and stutters in front of her.

"Good morning, Jungkook." Sowon whispers to him as he passes by.

"M-morning S-Sowon," he replies back with butterflies fluttering around in his stomach.

Later that day while he was doing his homework, he suddenly felt this energy inside of him that made him feel like a powerful and confident guy.

"I can do this! I'm going to go ask her out! It's been 2 years and she'll finally be yours!" Jungkook said happily out loud. 

He made a paper rose since his mother would interrogate him if he asked to buy a rose. Jungkook twirled his finished paper rose. "Nice," he mumbled.

He found Sowon with her friends so he waited. And waited. Finally, Sowon glanced over to where he was and excused herself. Her friends looked at each other strangely.

"Jungkook! Sorry about that. Didn't see you there," she apologizes.

"I'm always an outcast...." he whispers quietly to himself. "I made you something." He grabs the rose from behind his back and gave it to her.

"Awww! It's so adorable! Thank you so much!" Sowon pulled him into a tight hug. "But what's this for?"

Before Jungkook could back away from his plan, the words rushed out of his mouth. "Will you be my girlfriend?"

Sowon smiles but it quickly fades away. She had to stop herself before agreeing. "I would, like really would but Jungkook, you're too young for me."

Jungkook furrows his eyebrows, "We are only 2 years apart."

"I know, but people will just judge us and think wrongly. It'd be best to wait a couple of years."

Jungkooks heart breaks, "I waited so long for this moment and now I get rejected? Screw the rules, Sowon."

"I'm sorry Jungkook but it's 4 years or nothing." Sowon kisses him on the cheek and leaves him.

Why is society so judgemental?

He waited 4 years for her but during those years, he got accepted to BigHit. But the first thing they tell him was not good news.

"Rule number 1, no dating allowed." His CEO told him.

Jungkooks mind was screaming in pain. NO DATING?! The years I waited for her was now useless to me.

"Jungkook? You heard me, right?"

"Yes, as bright as day." He replied back with his spirit gone.

He kept thinking about her all through his trainee years. Jungkook's first award show was a present for him.

The familiar face of the girl who rejected him 4 years ago was now dancing and singing in front of him and millions of others.

"Sowon!" He squeaked in excitement.

After the award show, he found his way to her holding room. "Excuse me but is Sowon here?"

Sowon's head flicks towards the door way at the sound of her name being called. "J-Jungkook?! What are you doing here?" She rushed out to him.

"I'm an idol."

"Well, no, you are not, Mr. Obvious." She laughs. "I can't believe it's you!"

Before he could say anything more, Sowon blurts out a question.

"Will you be my boyfriend?" Her eyes pleading for an answer.

Jungkook was taken back but remembers what his CEO told him. "I'm sorry, Sowon but I'm not allowed to date."

Sowon pouts, "Screw the rules, Jungkook."

Jungkook chuckles, "I wish I could. I would break any rules just to be with you, but I can't."

Sowon suddenly reaches inside her bag and pulls out a paper craft, still perfect as when she got it.

A red paper rose.
