As I start walking towards Shawn, he stops talking to the guy and starts looking around, clearly looking for something or someone. He then looks at me and a smile creeps on his face. He starts walking towards me with that beautiful smile on his face.

"Hey you." I say with a huge smile.

"Hey," He says smiling.

"You made it"

"Yeah, a little bit late, but I'm here."

"That's what matters, like my Granny says Más vale tarde que nunca."

"Ma what?" Shawn asks with a confused look.

"Más vale tarde que nunca, it means that is better to be late than to never arrive." I explain with a chuckle.

"Ohh"

"Didn't you told me that you knew Spanish?"

"Yeah, well maybe I exaggerated a bit, I just know a few words and phrases."

"Well this is the second time you lie to me Mendes, I'm really disappointed."

"Yeah, I'm sorry. But just for the record I have lied about tiny insignificant things."

"Sure you did," I chuckled looking at him, staring into those beautiful and mysterious eyes of him. Sometimes they looked green, brown, or even hazel.

"You look beautiful, by the way." Shawn says to me in a deep voice, and looking straight into my eyes, making me blush even more.

"Thanks," I say tucking a strand of hair behind my ear and looking down, getting all shy suddenly. "So do you, I mean not beautiful, well you're beautiful but no, I mean you're handsome. Yeah, you look really handsome too. Although you hear it all day long and thousands of people tell you that 24/7. So you already know it, there's no need to say it again." I say babbling and Shawn chuckles.

"Well sometimes you just want to hear it from a certain someone instead from a thousand persons."

"Oh really?" I say grinning like a little girl.

"Mhm" He says smiling, making me blush even more, what is this guy doing to me?

I look up and stare at Shawn, admiring all his face details, and he looks at me the same way. We stay just looking at each other for like a minute, when I decide to break the silence. "So, do you want something to drink?"

"Yeah, that will be nice."

"Okay, come on." I say grabbing his hand. "I don't want you getting lost." I guide him through the crowd again like yesterday. We arrive at the kitchen were the drinks are. "So what do you want? Beer? Vodka? A cocktail? I'm great at doing cocktails."

"A beer will be fine thanks." I nod my head, and grab a beer from the fridge. I pour myself some more Cherry Liquor.

"Here you go." I say handing him the beer.

"Thanks,"

"You know you just lost the opportunity of tasting the best cocktail ever."

"Oh really?" He asks with a i don't believe you face.

"Yes! Whats with the face? Is it really that hard to believe?"

"Actually yeah, it is."

"What? Why?"

"I don't know I guess you have an innocent face. You don't look like a girl who is an expert at doing alcoholic drinks." He says with a chuckle.

"Why do people always say that? You know when people ask me how was I as a child and I tell them I was a prankster they don't believe me. They believe my brother but not me."
