6 boys quietly sat around the poorly discorded radio, a few quivering with fear and anxiety, while some were withholding nonchalant expressions in order to not lash out.
There laid in the middle of the wooden floor, on a cheap silver platter was a very small chocolate cake that could be mistaken for a flat-surfaced cupcake, with only one candle already burning from the tip as considering their pocket money wasn't enough to get a multiple packet nor a normal sized cake.
But one was enough.
Seokjin said spending it with the people he treasured the most was enough to fill up the missing candles on his cake.
But the candle was becoming thicker, that the candle wix was becoming darker and more visible, releasing a pathetic but small smoke as they waited out the sunset, at 12:00 on the dot Seokjin turned 13.
'At 11:55 Seokjin was abducted'
Birthdays are supposed to be a significant day, a day to celebrate in which you were given an opportunity in life, to experience love, laughter, happiness, sadness and tragedies.
It's not a day to dwell on, but considering the incident, I guess it's safe to take a rain check-

An alarm went off from a one of the boys watch, reminding them each that it was Seokjin's birthday now.
'12:00'
A desperate cry bursted out from one of the boys, as another tried to comfort him but just seeing him wilt and gasp in an attempt to breathe had triggered something deeply within themselves.
Until finally the youngest mustered up some courage to make the abducted boy- Kim Seokjin's wish.
He released a deep sigh, catching everyones attention as he shuffled forward, the floor board creaked with each shuffle as his knees scraped against it, now turning red with each mark, considering he was wearing shorts.
He fisted his shorts and said the words.
"Happy birthday Hyung..."
The candle went out.
At '12:00' it was Seokjin's birthday.
'At 12:01 Seokjin's birthday was finished.'
Hence a new day. ••• What did the youngest wish for? . . . . . . . . .
