She was the rain, and I was the sun,
I brightened her days when she came undone,
She was the storm, and I was the calm,
I was the cure, to all of her harm,
She is a star, and i was her night,
I turned off my light, so hers was bright,
I loved a girl, through light and the dark,
I loved a girl and it broke my heart.
She was the rain, and I was the sun,
She darkened my days, till I came undone,
She was the storm, and i was the calm,
Now she looks so happy, in some other man's arms.
She is a star, she shines so bright,
And I'm still the night, now lacking in light.
I fell for a girl, when she showed me her scars,
Each line on her hand felt like a cut on my heart.
She wanted escape, i can't hold her back,
Because when she finally shined, it showed her all i lack.
