Michelle's POV
"Momma I know what I want as my dying wish," I said softly.
"What is it baby girl?" Mom asked me.
"I want to meet him," I said.
"Who?" She asked.
"My father," I whispered.
"Sweety I don't know where he is. He left a long time ago," She said.
"Please," I whispered in a harsh voice.
"Okay," She said and stood up.
She walked out of the room and I closed my eyes. A pain shot through my body. I gasped and cried out. I curled up into a ball as the doctors rushed in. You see I have a rare disease called Aortic Aneurysm. It's when your heart tissue tears. I've been in the hospital for a couple of days. The doctors say I have only two months to live and there is nothing they can do. I'm just going to die.

-One Month & One Week later-
Elijah's POV
I was reading when I heard a knock at the door. I sighed and placed my book down. I walked to the door and opened it. I saw someone who I never thought I would see again. Destiny Connor. I was shocked.
"Destiny?" I asked confused.
"Elijah I finally found you," She sighed of relief.
"It's been 17 years. What are you here for?" I asked.
"It's not for me. I have something to tell you," She said.
"And what is that?" I asked.
"You have a daughter but she's dying. Her death wish is to meet you," She said sadly looking at the ground.
Now I was completely shocked.
"What?" I asked.
"Here," She said.
She got on her phone and pulled something up. She turned it to me and there was a beautiful 17 year old girl. She had long brown hair with some highlights and blue eyes.
"She's beautiful," I said softly.
"She's your daughter," Destiny said.
"Wait did you say death wish?" I asked.
She nodded and tears came to her eyes.
"She has a rare disease. Aortic Aneurysm, it tears the heart tissue. She has less than a month to live," She explained with tears streaming down her face.
I knew Destiny well, she loved kids and she doesn't lie. She was telling the truth.
"Where is she?" I questioned in a whisper.
"Come with me," She said and walked away.
I followed. By the time we got to our destination I was lost deep in thought.
"Elijah we're here," Destiny said.
I got out of her car and walked with her. We walked to the elevator and got in. She pushed the button that had the number 12 on it. Once we got to the 12th floor she lead me to room 564. She told me to wait out here. She opened the door and walked in. I heard talking one voice was Destiny's and a faint one that sounds in pain. It hurt me emotionally. The door opened and Destiny stood there. She smiled sadly and nodded. I walked in and laying on the bed was a very fragile looking girl. It was the one from the picture but now she looks sick and in pain. Her eyes were closed and she laid there very still.
"Michelle?" Destiny asked.
She opened her eyes slowly and looked at Destiny. She looked at me in confusion.
"Who are you?" She asked.
"I'm Elijah Mikaelson and I'm your father," I said softly.

Michelle's POV
When the man in the suit said that my eyes slightly widen but not a lot. It hurt to much. I looked at my mom and she nodded.
"I'm Michelle Connor," I said weakly.
"I know," He said.
I closed my eyes in pain and clutched my chest. I whimpered and then I felt a hand pushing my hair out of my face. I felt safe. I opened my eyes slightly and saw Elijah staring at me sadly.
"When did this happen?" He asked my mom.
"About a month and a half ago," She answered.
He nodded never looking away from me.
"Could you leave us?" He asked.
"Of course, Elijah," She said and kissed my head.
She walked away and left us. Pain shot through me again and I cried out. Elijah picked me up and placed me in his lap. Tears rolled down my face and he rocked me back and forth.
"Michelle, I'm so sorry for not being here for you," He whispered.
I nodded slightly and my breathing slowed down slightly. He held me for a while when I finally drifted off into a deep but painful sleep.

Elijah's POV
I watched her as she slept. Anyone could easily tell that she was in pain even in her sleep. The door opened and Destiny walked in. She had two cups.
"I got coffee," She said and placed one on the table beside the bed.
I didn't say anything, I just stared at my daughter.
"She's beautiful, isn't she?" Destiny said.
"Yes she is," I said.
"I don't want her to die," Destiny's voice cracked as she spoke.
"She's so young and she was going to see the world. She wanted to be a chef and own her own restaurant," She said.
"She liked to cook," I said surprised.
"She loved it. She used to cook for the homeless and she also volunteered for shelters. She made people laugh a lot," She explained.
"She sounds like a girl someone always wanted to be around," I said.
"Everyone wanted to be around her," She said.
"I hope I'm not to late to get to know her," I said sadly.
"It's never too late Elijah," She told me.
