"Avery do you know what you're saying right now?"
"I know it sounds ridiculous, but I think I started falling for you ever since I first saw you."
"You can't do this." He stated.
"I know." I looked down.
"Think about it."
I nodded before saying goodnight and running to my room.
My emotions were mixed and I didn't know what to feel anymore. I had found someone who put my life back together and now that I have Dallas how do I feel about Kian? It was the start of something new or at least I thought it was. My scrambled thoughts were interrupted by a sudden knock.
"Just leave me alone." I shoved my face into a pillow.
"Avery?"
"Kian?" I responded.
"Can we talk?"
"You aren't leaving are you?" I sat up.
He opened the door closing it as he walked in and came to sit next to me.
"Did you tell him?"
"Yeah." I admitted.
"You were gone for hours. What happened?"
"He didn't want everything to go to waste. We danced and ate dinner. As friends though." I said leaving out the important details.
"You can be honest with me." He said.
I knew I could trust Kian, but with this I wasn't so sure. I know he can tell that i'm struggling. I was searching my head for the rights words to say.
"I'm being honest."
"Goodnight Avery." He leaned in for a kiss as I rejected.
"Goodnight." I pulled a blanket over me.
I stared at the clock watching the time pass by. 1:00, 2:00, 3:00 a.m. I laid on my back and stared at the blank ceiling above me. It was silent until something hit my window. My attention was now on the window and nothing else. As I kept watching another rock hit the window follow by another.
I got out of bed to look outside. Down below throwing rocks at my window was Dallas. I rushed downstairs to answer the door before anyone heard him. I stepped outside and quietly shut the door.
"What are you doing?" I wanted to shout but I couldn't.
He looked over at me then started to walk.
"What you said. About falling for me. I feel the same way." He set both hands on my arms.
"I don't know. How can I love two people at once?" I retorted.
"Kian is leaving. I'm here to stay." He claimed.
"I love Kian though." I pronounced.
"But I love you." He kissed me.
My hands moved to his cheeks and his moved around my waist and he pulled me closer to him.
"Sleep tight." He backed away and started running down the beach.
After about only 4 hours of sleep I had finally woken up. I took a steaming hot shower then got dressed in my jean short shorts and american flag tank top. I put my hair in a messy bun with a braid going into it and began running downstairs.
The only person I saw was Kian.
"Want to tell me what was up with you last night?" He turned around.
