Mystery falls

It was a quiet Saturday morning when Maria woke up the weather was cool and a little foggy, Maria

sat up in bed listening to the birds chirping. Maria got up and went to her closet to get an outfit for

her run she decided on black running shorts, dark blue shirt a black jacket and Maria’s favorite pair

of blue running shoes and put her mid length wavy brown hair in a ponytail. Maria went downstairs

grabbing a black mp3 player and an apple. Maria jogged down the road and disappearing in the

forest.

I was running through the forest when I heard a twig snap to my right I slowed to a walk and looked

to the bush when I heard another twig snap. I sighed in relief and then smiled when I saw it was

just a deer. I continued on my run picking up speed as I went jumping over a tree root I knew I was

getting closer and closer to my hide out. I ran until I came across the sound of the waterfall I kept

running getting closer to the sound, I slowed to a jog when I saw the waterfall. I started walking

looking for the entrance to the back of the waterfall there’s a cave there. The entrance is beside a

rock (more like bolder) surrounded by bushes it’s very hard to find. I found it by accident the first

time, I got a little lost in the forest when I came across the water fall I went to rest against the rock

when I tripped and fell into this big hole in the rock completely covered so I didn’t see it. Finally I

saw the rock I carefully walked over to the rock I liked to call it mystery rock because the rock looks

mysterious I also call this place mystery falls because this is a very mysterious place. I went to the

hole in the rock and slowly entered the cave hidden behind the waterfall. I walked a bit when I came

across the blue/green rock which marks that I’m a meter away from my hideout. I continued

walking, the cave was actually very bright the hideout is like a garden the cave lets in a fair amount

of light so the plants can grow. The hideout is very pretty even though I have not seen any animals

down here it’s still one of my favorite places to visit because of its beauty and the fact that only I

know about it. There are small trees, some grass, a small pond, and lots of vegetation a ton of

pretty colored flowers and rocks or bolder around it. I even brought some of my own stuff, like little

things and benches and stuff to make it more like my own place where I can be myself. I stayed for

an hour then I went out the way I entered and jogged home.                                                                     

 I woke up early at 06:00 am to hear a few birds chirping and the sun just starting to rise. I knew I

wouldn’t be able to go back to sleep so I decided to go for a run to my secret hideout. I grabbed my

green shirt and black running shorts with my black running shoes, my green sweater and y black

mp3 player then quietly walked downstairs and grabbed an apple, wrote a note and quietly walked

out the door. I ran through the forest until I heard the waterfall dodging trees, rocks, roots and

bushes as I went. Then slowed to a jog when I saw the mystery falls, I started walking towards the

entrance and went down through the tunnel to my hideout I passed the blue/green rock and entered

the hideout. I heard a sound like a puppy whining I slowly walked to the rock and walked around it I

screamed it’s a wolf pup the pup tried to back away but then whimpered. I sighed and slowly

approached the little wolf pup trying not to scare it. I knelt down beside the wolf pup and figured out

it’s a girl. I picked up her right paw and she whimpered the poor thing no older than a few months.

Her paw seemed to have a deepish locking cut on the pad of her paw. The wolf is full black with a

white star over her right eye. I got up then carefully grabbed the little wolf pup who I think I’m going to

call her Star and brought star out of the cave and walked home I entered the house and carefully

cleaned out her paw. I put some polysporin on the cut (that was not deep enough for stiches) then I

wrapped her paw up. I walked to the kitchen and gave her some chicken. That’s when I decided that

I was going to keep star as my puppy so I’ll have someone to talk to and hang out with and won’t be

judged by. I grabbed the car keys picked up star and walked to my car I drove to the pet store locked

the car and carried star in. I grabbed a few collars, leashes, brushes, conditioner, treats, beds and

toys along with dog food canned and dry with food and water dishes I also grabbed some healing

stuff paid and left when I was in the car I put a collar around Star’s neck and attached a leash to the

collar then I drove to the vets. I got to the vets signed star up got her checked out attached the tags

along with the identification tags I also got her chipped. I walked her out to the car then left for home

and fell asleep with star on the bed. I woke up the morning checked on Star’s paw changed into a

new running outfit grabbed my mp3 player, an apple, wrote a note, feed Star then put her leash on

grabbed the chest and stuff. I ran out the door to the forest and went to my spot with Star. When I

reached my hideout I let Star off her leash put my chest under a small stone bench I brought then

placed some of Stars toys in the chest and played with Star for an hour or so then I put the toys

away called Star put her leash and ran home changed started training star until six then I ate feed Star and went to sleep.

It’s been a month now and Star is fully trained and five months old she is a sweet and adorable

little wolf pup. She even has her hunting skills and is pretty good at it. I take her on a run every

morning to the hide out to play and exercise. Her paw is fully healed and she is extremely fast.

Everyone in my town loves Star because she is so sweet, I also just turned seventeen and spent

the whole day with my family then went shopping and the next day I spent the whole day at my

hideout with Star. I never thought that one day at mystery falls would have changed my life forever all

because of one little wolf pup. That little wolf pup helped me in many ways by making me more

responsible and had me spending more time outsides making me work hard and gave me a

companion. So I really can’t believe how much she changed me.
