Brianna’s POV:

*Turn up the music, just turn it up louder” “ANSWER THE PHONE BRI!” Becca yelled.

“Hello.” I answered.

“Brianna Williams?”

“This is she.”

“Hi, it’s Jayne. I wanted to call you and inform you that you got the job. We’ll all be meeting up at 9:30. See you then.”

“Ok, thank you.”

I ran to Becca’s room and told her the good news. She was actually mad that I woke her up, instead of being happy for me. But she’ll congratulate me later when she’s more awake.

After telling her the news, I had to get in the shower and get ready to meet up with everybody. I got out of the shower to hear my phone going off again, but this time it was a text. I opened my phone to see a text from Jill, “Hey, I got the job. Did you?” I was a little confused because I thought that there was only one spot but I guess there were two. “I replied with, “Yeah, wanna meet up for coffee before we head to the studio?” “Yeah. I’ll be there in ten minutes.”

As I was walking out the door, I decided to ask Becca if she wanted to come with me instead of stay home and do nothing all day. To my surprise, she agreed and we were on our way to meet up with Jill. “Hey!!!” I heard, I didn’t know who it was or if they were even talking to me, but I turned around and saw Jill running to me. “Hey. Great you’re here. I would like to introduce you to my best friend and roommate, Becca.” “Hi, I’m Jill. I met Brianna at auditions yesterday.” “Nice to meet you.” Becca said. “So, you guys just gonna stand here or are we gonna get some coffee?” I asked. They both nodded and with that we headed in.

While ordering for all of us, I noticed that the barista kept staring at Becca, Jill, and me; I didn’t think anything of it until he came over and introduced himself. “Ugh, here we go again.” I said towards Becca, she laughed. “Hi, I’m Marcus Brooks. And you are?” Wow, he’s forward. First name and last.“Well, I’m Brianna. This is Becca and that’s Jill.” I replied, with no interest in him. “Bri, we gotta go or we’re gonna be late.” Jill said trying to end the awkwardness. “Where you going?” Marcus asked. None of us replied because we hoped that we wouldn’t see him again. We began to run to my car because we wanted to get to the studio early.

We arrived at the studio fifteen minutes early and there wasn’t anybody there, so Becca, Jill, and I sat down and began to talk. We talked about favorite sports, artists, movies, places, and whatever seemed interesting. After about ten minutes of talking, we got bored so we decided to have a dance party. I turned on my iPhone and plugged it into the iHome, and then we danced like there was nobody there. Unfortunately, in the middle of our dance party Jayne, Mrs. Knight, three other women, and five guys walked into the studio and I was the last one to stop dancing. I was embarrassed but a little angry that Becca and Jill didn’t warn me. The room then filled with laughter because of how uncomfortable I was, but then it turned serious when Jayne said, “Ok, enough of that. Now we have to decide who’s going to be partnered together.” After Jayne said that, the guy, with short, dark hair and a tanned complexion, pulled Jayne into the hallway to talk. The other guys seemed to know what it was about except for the guy I ran into yesterday. I was confused as to why he was here but I got over it.

Tom’s POV:

“Jayne, the guys and I already decided partners. Is that ok with you?” After I said that, Jayne just looked at me with a questioning look but she just said, “Ok. Who’s with whom?” Jayne asked. “Jay’s with Chloe. Siva’s with Chelsea. Max’s with Tianna. Nathan’s with Jill. And I’m with Brianna.” Jayne looked a little confused as to why we would pick our own partners but at the same time she seemed relieved because she wouldn’t have to pick our partners. And with that, we walked back into the studio so that Jayne could tell everyone who was with whom.

Nathan’s POV:

When Tom pulled Jayne out into the hallway, I got a little nervous because whenever Tom wants to talk to Jayne, it’s never really a good thing. Apparently my concerned look made everybody else laugh. “What’s going on with Tom? Why does he want to talk to Jayne?” I asked them. “I don’t know, he didn’t tell us anything.” Max replied but I felt as though there was something he wasn’t telling me. I stood there feeling nervous as to what was about to happen, until I looked up and saw Brianna looking at me. I thought that she would’ve been happy to see me but she looked confused to see me again. I guess that she has no idea who I am, but I was planning on changing that. But once Tom and Jayne came back in, I got a weird feeling in my stomach but I didn’t show it. I just had to wait for Jayne to say who we were going to be partnered up with, hoping that I would be partnered up with Brianna.

Jayne’s POV:

When Tom wanted to talk to me, I had a feeling that it wasn’t going to be a good thing and once he said, “Jayne the guys and I already decided partners.” I was a little caught off guard because they aren’t the kind of guys to do things unexpectedly, but I didn’t really care as long as they were ok with whom they chose.  I just replied with “Ok.” I was a little suspicious as to why they chose their own partners but I guess they have their own personal preferences. And with that, me and Tom walked back into the studio so that I could announce who was going to be with whom.  “Ok everybody, here’s the list of partners: Jay-Chloe, Siva-Chelsea, Max-Tianna, Nathan-Jill, and Tom-Brianna. You have any problems with your partner, feel free to let me know.” And with that, we got ready to practice.

Nathan’s POV:

“Tom-Brianna.” Those were the only words in my mind. I couldn’t believe that the girl I wanted to be partnered with got partnered up with Tom. Tom was bound to flirt with her and I didn’t want that to happen because I wanted to be her partner. Jayne gave us half an hour to get to know our partner better and I wasn’t sure if I wanted to get to know my partner better because she seemed really nervous. Well, I might as well be a good partner and try to know her better. “Hi, I’m Nathan and I’m guessing that you’re Jill.” “Yeah, that’s me.” We talked a little bit but I couldn’t focus because all I heard was Brianna and Tom laughing and I couldn’t help but be jealous.

Jill began to notice that I wasn’t paying attention, so she asked me if I was ok. I didn’t want to be rude and say, “Yeah, I’m fine besides the fact that the girl of my dreams is partnered with Tom.” So I just responded with, “Yeah, I just started thinking about the tour.” After I said that, she went on and on about how excited she was and I could tell how excited she was because during her whole rant, she had the biggest smile on her face. Luckily for me, Jayne told us that we would begin rehearsing in ten minutes. I felt as though this rehearsal was gonna be rough.
