Skylar: Awful!!!

Mia: Whats wrong?

Skylar: Everything I didn't want to leave! Now my friends are gone, my mom is gone, I don't know whats gonna happen between me and Jacob. I am just really scared. Really really scared.

Mia: Its alright. I am still here, and Jacob loves you! You don't need to be scared.

Skylar: What about my mom?

Mia: I can't change what your dad did Sky I'm sorry.

Skylar: Your right.

Mia: I have to go. Dad is calling.

Skylar: Okay

I wish Mia's dad wasn't in the military, or at least didn't call so often. I have still been having dreams about my father killing my mother. After that I was instantly moved out of the house. Now I am on a plane to L.A. to live with my grandma. Four more hours left. Ugh!

I decided to talk to Jacob. I needed him to tell me I was gonna be okay.

Skylar: Hi can we talk?

Jacob: yeah sure

Skylar: Well, you know about that killing?

Jacob: yup the whole town is buzzing

Skylar: Well, It was my dad. He killed my mom.

Jacob: Oh where are you?

Skylar: I called you this morning. I am on a plane to L.A.

Jacob: WHAT?

Skylar: I'm on a plane going to L.A?

Jacob: Oh! When are you coming back?

Skylar: Jacob I called you this morning! I am moving to L.A to live with my grandma!

Jacob: Really? Why?

Skylar: Are you kidding me? I just told you, my dad killed my mom! My dad is in prison!

Jacob: So you're not coming back?

Skylar: No I am not.

Jacob: Well, then we need to break up.

Skylar: What? Why?

Jacob: I was only dating you to make Jen jellous.

Skylar: But why me?

Jacob: You're that hottest girl in school. duh. Why else would anyone date you?

Okay that stung.

Skylar: Fine we are done good bye forever. P.S. Don't ever talk to Mia or I will find you! No kidding.

Skylar you have just left the chat.

Jacob was deleted and blocked from your contacts.

I couldn't stop the tears that were running down my face. I ran to the airplane's bathroom and called Mia. I hope you are done talking to your dad.

*Ring ring*

"Hello?"

"Mia, Jacob just broke up with me."

"Oh my God, Why?"

"'Cause he never loved me, and no one ever will."

"Oh, Sky I love you. There is someone out there just for you!"

I wish I could believe you.

I told her everything he said.

"I see revenge in his future!"

I couldn't help but laugh at that.

"I will never fall in love, ever." That was a promise.
