CASTIELS P.O.V.

Just great. I had to walk. Ugh I hated walking, it was just so tedious. As a matter of fact, I disliked most activities outside. I would rather just stay inside and watch Americas Next Top Model. Yes that sounds perf right now. That's is what i'll do. Smiling I rounded the corner and was met by familiar plaid shirt walking towards me.

"Hey" I chimed as Dean fell into step with me, his green eyes twinkling with whatever was going through his mind right now.

"Hello" he coolly replied back. Something was up. "Hey, um Cas?" he cleared his throat.

"Yes" I replied just as coolly back. He cleared his throat once more.

"Would you want to, um I don't know, um come over and watch pointless reality television after school?" he asked awkwardly. I just laughed (as always) at his awkwardness.

"What else do I look forward to on any school night?" I said still laughing. Stealing a sideways glance at him, I could see him visibly relax, I still dont know why he asked. Its not like anyone other than Anna might notice I was gone after school. It wasnt that my brothers didnt care for me, as it was more that my brothers are too busy making the most of their highschool trying to leave their mark at this school, what with Michael being football captain and still managing to keep his grades as high as he did. Or Lucifer with trying to pull some record as being the most disliked yet most popular almost borderline douche, and then there was Gabriel, he was just himself, lead role in their rendition of the classic, yet horrifyingly cheesy, Romeo and Juliet. ALL of his siblings he loved, but he had a sweet spot for the not-so-seemingly-innocent Anna. He didn't even know what she was involved in anymore, she was always switching from choir, to theatre, but he believed she was doing just fine in art right now, when did she say the showing was....? He thought. He was brought back to reality by an overly eager look on Deans face as he looked up and saw Sam and Anna getting friendly on a bench near the fountain in front of the school.

"Cas you totally owe me ten bucks!!" he yelled into Cas' ear.

"I dont see how you can be happy right now.." he muttered under his breath, as cute as the couple was they both knew it wouldnt last. Anna would get bored, and move on.

"What did you say? Oh nevermind!" he exclaimed pocketing the ten that Cas had just given him as the bell rang. "I'll walk you to Mrs.Walther's ok?" he could feel himself blush at the thought of Dean, his bestfriend of all his life, and secret crush for two years, he decided he shouldn't (and couldn't) deny his growing affection for the older Winchester.

"Um yea ok." he managed to stutter out.

"Plus, isnt Lisa in that class with you?" Dean asked innocently, but the comment still pained Cas.

"Um, I believe she is in that class with me." he straightened his messenger bag and pushed his glasses up his nose a bit more.

"Aww, Cas you don't have to get all cute and nerdy for my attention!" Dean cooed. Cas could feel his face get even more red as he stepped into his literature class.

"Ok, well see you in third period." Dean whispered into Cas's ear, earning him a shiver.

"You're not going to say hello to Lisa?" Cas asked curious.

"Naw, gotta get to class in time today." he said with a wink before making his way near the math wing, leaving an almost giddy Cas. He would never admit it, but he was secretly glad Dean didnt see Lisa more important than getting to

DEANS P.O.V.

What the hell had gotten into him today? He felt like things had been more tense between himself and his bestfriend. He wasn't going to deny his downstairs, he had been finding Cas alot more attractive lately , not just, "Wow was Cas actually doing something in P.E.?" But more like, "Damn Cas looked good in those pants!" Kinda attractive. Well no use, as far as he knew (and he knew Cas pretty good) he didn't think the feeling was mutual. He frowned, he didn't like thinking negative( didn't do any good) so he just tried thinking about Lisa and her friends, and when that didn't work to distract him from whatever the hell this math was, he'll admit it, he tried to think if he found any other guys attractive. He didn't.

"Mr.Winchester" croaked(literally CROAKED, Mrs. Banding literally sounded as if she smoked ten packs a day!

"Yes?" Dean tried to ask as innocently as possible.

"Try to do the packet, don't want you to stay after school with football tryouts, now do we?" He sighed in relief, Mrs. Banding's husband was athletic director, so she had a sweet spot for athletes, but he didn't push it. He already had a guaranteed spot on varsity, hell he was in varsity his freshman year, but this year Michael, Cas' older brother, was team captain. He didn't want anyone thinking he got his spot by being the captains younger brothers best friend. Suddenly he was alert. DAMN. Tryouts were today after school, he really hoped Cas wouldn't be mad. Trailing back to his earlier thoughts(Ok to be honest with himself it was all Cas) he felt class go by quickly and was suddenly on his way to his second period science. Cutting his way to where he had to go by Mrs. Walters class he peaked in and saw Cas inside writing notes, instead of being on break. He sighed staring at Cas for a few more seconds, before walking towards the science wing all the while thinking, Damn I'm in deep.
