Clinging to Affection

•Chapter 1• Moving day

Today is the day we are moving to Michigan. My mom and this guy have been dating for awhile now and he proposed to her about 2 months ago and now we are gonna be living with him. Oh and by the way my name is Jenna im going to be a senior in high school and im not thrilled about moving. I mean I'll miss my friends, it's not like I have a lot any way but I still have a few. When I first found out that we were moving I was upset and I didn't want to go but now here I am packing. Which I need to finish.

"Jenna we leave in 1 hour" my mom yelled up the stairs but I could barley here her over my favorite song *If you want love* * link above*

I finished up packing and started to carry my boxes down the stairs to the moving van. There were about 5 guys just sitting around waiting for me to finish so they can help me load my stuff. 

-30 minutes later-

When the van was finally packed up with  our stuff me and my mom hit the road.

When we got on the highway I fell asleep because I was up all night packing.

I woke up at 230 in the morning. We were at a rest stop and my mom was sleeping so I decided to get out and go to the bathroom and get something to eat. While I was walking up to the building I seen we were in michigan but nowhere near my mom's fiances house.

I walked thru the doors and seen this man he looks about 24 years old. I walked into the bathroom on in my right and did my business. When I was done I walked back out and he was still there so I walked over to him and asked
"Do you need sone extra cash to get something to eat?"

"Yes please I only have 50 cents and the thing I want is 1.50 "

I pulled out 3 dollars out of my wallet and put it in the vending machine and asked what he wanted.

"I want a rice krispie treat please and thank you"

I pressed c3 which was the code for it and I wanted one to do I got one for myself too.

They fell out to the bottom and I grabbed both and handed him one and he said "Thank you so much"

I went over to one of the benches and sat down and he followed me.

I asked him what his name was and he said "Levi and what's yours?"

"Jenna" I said before taking a bite of my krispie.

We talked for a little bit and I learned that he is moving to the same town as I was. So I'll probably see him around. It was about 530 when I head back to the van and he headed to his green and black f150 truck.

It was about 6:00 when my mom woke up and we got back on the highway and I pulled out my iPhone 7 and plugged it into the charger and started to listen to some music. The song I was listening to is Go Flext by Post Malone.

As I was looking at the window I seen a sign that we were 10 miles from the town we were going to.

-18 minutes later-

We pulled up to a really nice house. We were greated by a gate and my mom rolled her window down and pressed the bright yellow button and said "We are here Jason"

I thought to myself I wonder if he has any kids. We will have to find out when we get through the gate.
